Family home sleeping five guests. Ideally located in Llanelli with views of the golf course and coast. A perfect base for those wanting to explore Carmarthenshire, spend time at the beach or wanting to be close to the golf course.

The property is pet friendly making it a great choice for every member of the family. Offering three spacious bedrooms, a fenced garden, private drive and open plan kitchen/ diner with separate living room.

Welcome to Ffordd Y Meillion. From the moment you step inside, you`ll feel welcomed by this warm and cosy home. Off the hallway, you`ll find the living room, featuring an electric fireplace. Sink into the two large sofas and catch up on your favourite shows on the Smart TV (for subscription TV such as Netflix or Prime, don`t forget to bring your login details).

Through the hallway, you will find an open plan kitchen and dining area, where you can enjoy your time together. Fitted with modern appliances, you`ll find everything at your fingertips. Complimentary tea and coffee await your arrival, offering a warm and refreshing start to your stay. French doors lead to a private, fenced garden, allowing space for relaxing and socialising.

Upstairs, find the family bathroom with shower. To support the local community, we proudly supply miniature travel-sized bottles of shampoo, shower gel and soap from Myddfai - a social enterprise dedicated to helping vulnerable individuals. The master bedroom, with en-suite, boasts a comfortable bed with views overlooking the sea. The second bedroom has a double bed with a view overlooking the garden. The single bedroom, located next to the double, also has views overlooking the garden.

All of our bedding and towels are professionally laundered. We provide one bath towel and one hand towel per guest as well as bath mats and tea towels.

The private and secure garden can be accessed from the French doors. Fenced off for your peace of mind, the garden offers a safe place for children and/or pets to roam. There are plenty of supermarkets and local shops for you to choose from for the duration of your stay. The nearest supermarket would be Lidl which is less than a five-minute drive away from the property. Other supermarkets can be accessed in under ten minutes by car, these include Asda, Aldi, Tesco and Morrisons.

Places to eat -
St Ellis Bay is a bistro and brasserie on the beachfront of Llanelli. The ground floor offers a dog-friendly, casual experience with no booking necessary serving a wide variety of food and drink as well as delicious freshly made gelato using only Welsh ingredients. For a more refined dining experience, the first-floor brasserie offers excellent views across the Loughor estuary towards the Gower peninsular serving a lovely selection of meals.

Shire Coffee at HWYL located in the town centre serves lovely brunches and lunches with a wholesome feel. They are often open til late Friday and Saturday for their themed nights, we advise looking on their social media for updates.

Machynys Peninsula Golf & Premium Spa has a brasserie which welcomes visitors whether it`s for a bar snack or a drink on its wrap-around sundeck or a full a la carte meal in its restaurant. The menu provides an interesting fusion of Welsh and Mediterranean cuisine with stunning views across the golf course.

Humble Coffee Co. is a quirky coffee shop with an industrial feel. Serving brunch, speciality coffee and cake by day as well as tapas and cocktails by night.

If you`re feeling like something a little different, Nik The Greek is an authentic Greek restaurant, lounge bar, deli shop and takeaway tucked away in the beautiful seaside town of Burry Port. Burry Port also has an array of cafes to choose from, including Caffi Lolfa, Pantri Lolfa and Cozy Coffee.

Local attractions -

The Millenium coastal path is on our doorstep and is a 13-mile pedestrian/ cycle path which follows the south coast of Carmarthenshire. The property is within walking distance of the beach and Llanelli coastal path. Llanelli dock has plenty to do including paddle boarding which are available for hire. Here you can also find St Elli`s Bay if you`d like to stop to quench your thirst or grab a bite to eat.

To the west of Llanelli Beach is Burry Port, a friendly seaside town with a beautiful harbour and lighthouse. If you`re feeling peckish there is an unmissable pink crepe cafe with an outdoor seating area. You can cycle along the coastal path from Llanelli to Burry Port and even further along to Pembrey if you`re feeling energetic.

We highly recommend visiting the award-winning Pembrey country park, set within 500 acres of Green flag awarded woodlands, alongside a Blue Flag awarded eight-mile beach. The park has a lot to offer including a dry ski slope, toboggan ride, crazy golf, train rides, adventure play area as well as a variety of nature trails with a designated bird-watching area.

The Gateway Resort is a holiday park nearby open year round with plenty on offer including a heated pool and indoor play area for rainy days, as well as a mini funfair and an array of live entertainment.

Machynys Peninsula Golf & Premium Spa is around the corner and boasts a Nicklaus-designed 7121-yard modern links championship golf course which has hosted an unprecedented 14 Championships, including 2 Royal & Ancient Championships and 4 Ryder Cup Wales LET Championships of Europe. Carmarthenshire itself has many wonderful castles to explore, many of which are within a 30-minute drive of Llanelli.

Within an hour is the beautiful Gower Peninsular (visible from the coast of Llanelli). Ringed by award-winning beaches and adored by walkers, birdwatchers, sunbathers and surfers it is well worth the visit.

Located within walking distance of the beach, Ffordd Y Meillion provides easy access to sandy shores for refreshing coastal walks. There are buses, trains and taxis all available nearby.

Parking-
Free parking. Parking is available directly outside the property on the drive to the left of the property. This can comfortably fit two cars. More spaces can be located opposite the property in a bay.

Check-in time is after 4 pm and check-out time is before 10 am.

Travel cot/ high chair-
A travel cot and high chair are available at the property. Guests will need to bring their cot bedding, including the bottom sheet.
