“The stay was good. Easy to check in. Convenient location. Clean and good quality for the price paid. However i have stayed in the same room before and the hot tap in the basin worked. Not on this stay at all. There was hot water from the shower, but if you wanted a wet shave, bad luck! ”

“Convenient to road system but unaffected by traffic noise. Free parking. Reception friendly and efficient. Lifts available. My room had 2 double beds which made the room seem cramped. The bed I used was comfortable. Ensuite bath with an over shower. I had to fix the shower curtain back on the track to avoid soaking the floor. Food good quality and reasonably priced.”

“Easy online check-in no problem getting our key on arrival. Our room was very clean and comfortable and had everything we needed during our stay. The staff are so polite and very helpful. Breakfast was amazing and reasonably priced.This is our second time staying at the Fallow Field and we will definitely stay here again. Highly recommend.”

“From the moment I walked through the door the immediate comfort and expectation was met! I didn’t get the front desk ladies name however it was around 3pm I checked in on Friday and she was lovely, asked about my plans, and was overall just a bubbly welcoming person. “Excellent characterful hotel. Our large room was in the Stable Block, and was quiet, comfortable and well appointed. We would very much recommend and would certainly stay again when next visiting Shrewsbury. The only (very minor) niggles were that the shower head in our large en-suite was faulty, meaning it had to be held rather than stood under, and the breakfast choices were limited if you didn’t want to start the day with a big fry-up!
