“This is not just a place with a bed and a bath, but was an experience. It starts with the peaceful setting that is a bit off the beaten path. Next are all the bright interior colors that have been used throughout. “Accommodations were as represented in the listing. Plenty of hot water. Excellent location in town with great views out the windows of the second story master window. Washer was convenient as you could do an extra spin and drain and then air dry thinner clothing. There were some limited spices for cooking. Parking was available every time although late at night probably would have had difficulty getting parking across the street.I would stay here again with a family and looking at the hotels in...

“Amazing. Comfortable and welcoming. Beds were comfortable, kitchen was well equipped. Loved the big soaker tub and shower. Heated towel racks were great. The views were fabulous. Easy access to Isle of Skye. Did a day trip to Loch Ness. Directions and instructions for arrival were great! “A great property with views to die for! Kay was super helpful and great and speedy with answering queries!House had everything we needed! Local shop excellent! Pub great for night off from the cooking! A wonderful time was had by all! A lovely remote getaway with amazing mountains and hills! Just be careful of the ticks when walking through bracken and long grass! Ticks and Midges... A small price to pay for such a lovely time in the Highlands!Thanks Kay! ”

“Perfectly located for a short walk in Portree and a drive around the Isle of Skye. We had two families w/teens and found the space perfect for sleeping and a large dining space for all of us to eat together. Easy check in/out. Ready to go back already!”

“This property was an ideal location from which to explore Skye. The property was basic, but very clean and exactly as shown in the listing. It was a very short walk to restaurants, grocery store and shops in Portree.”
