Location pas à la hauteur de nos attentes

Code et téléphone communiqués pour le retrait des clés erronés donc beaucoup de mal à récupérer ces clés. L’annonce annonçait deux salle de bain alors qu’il n’y en a qu’une. Les chambres étaient situées à l’étage, non mentionné dans l’annonce. À notre arrivée à 22h, un électricien travaillait dans l’appartement. Les écoulements de la salle de bain étaient très lents et la porte fermait très mal. Nous ne recommandons pas cette location

Disappointing 5 night stay

We stayed in 4 VRBOs during our trip to the UK, this one was disappointing for our 5 night stay. Remember in the UK first floor means there’s a ground floor beneath you, since these are 2 story flats that’s 3 flights of stairs to get up so keep that in mind. The garbage shoots in the enclosed stairs made the stairs appear or are dirty. Shortly after we arrived a handyman arrived, the mgmt company did send a email in the vrbo app- just hadn’t had time to review that prior to traveling that day, the handyman was to fix a doorknob. We went off to dinner and when returned there were tools all over the bathroom and the shower being worked on. This took until almost 10pm, understandably these things happen but looking at a previous post ( that wasn’t online when we booked this location) there were plumbing issues then too. Location wasn’t bad- but we chose this location as the listing indicates it’s 4 min from the tube, this isn’t accurate- it’s a 15-20 min walk to the tube or take a bus to the tube station. The walls are scuffed in living room and stairs. It was unusually hot and we had requested a 2nd fan, they did respond the next day that we could buy a fan up to $25 and they would reimbursed. We chose not to do this. Enjoyed having a washer. There are grocery stores and a few bakeries nearby. This flat needs work, perhaps taking it offline for a bit to fix things that need addressed would help

Disappointing

We chose this flat because the listing said it was a 5 min walk to either of two Tube stations; the walk was actually 15-20 min. Key pickup was at a store 5-10 min walk from the flat. The address provided was wrong; thankfully we had a knowledgeable cab driver who found our flat and then explained how the keys worked. Didn't provide any of this information until 48hours before arrival. It was hot (30C/85F) and host provided one fan. We asked for two more; never heard from anyone. Windows in the bedrooms only open a few inches. Said it was on the 1st floor but it is really a 3rd floor walk up. Then the flat itself has two floors. Many more stairs than expected. The stairs in flat are painted and have many worn patches. The bottom step matches the flooring and we missed the bottom step twice. Flooring on upper floor has unfinished edges at the stairs. Dirty smudges on bathroom door. There were pods for the clothes washer but none for the dishwasher. No stopper in sink. Only one dish towel. Cabinet in kitchen has large gap btwn wall and there are dust balls and dirt in the gap. Pans were dirty and very used. No small sauce pans. No toaster. Tea kettle latch was broken. Front door has splits in the wood so large that light comes through. Communication with host was stunted. Few words, limited responses including afterwards when he charged us L250 for damage to wardrobe. When asked how it was damaged host has not replied and it's been 10 days. I can provide photos
