There’s something quietly magical about this home. Set across the top two floors of a former warehouse, it has that rare feeling of openness and light that’s so hard to find in London. Sunlight pours through the tall windows and up toward the mezzanine, where the air seems to lift — part home, part hideaway, entirely its own.
The heart of the flat is the open-plan kitchen and dining area: high ceilings, exposed brickwork, and a small balcony that catches the city breeze. It’s the sort of space that feels alive — whether you’re cooking dinner or sharing a bottle of wine beneath the glow of dimmable pot lights and a statement chandelier that cast a warm, golden calm in the evenings.
Climb the stairs to the mezzanine lounge and you’ll find the home’s soul — a quiet perch above the city, filled with soft light and easy comfort. From here, doors open straight onto the private south-west-facing terrace, where composite decking and skyline views create the perfect backdrop for slow breakfasts or golden-hour drinks. On a summer evening, with London spread out before you, it’s hard to imagine being anywhere else.
Both bedrooms have their own rhythm. The principal suite feels cocooned and calm, with soft lighting, built-in storage, and a sleek en-suite shower room. The second double is bright and inviting, with access to the family bathroom — with underfloor heating in both bathrooms, adding a quiet touch of luxury to morning routines and late-night soaks alike.
Throughout, warm wooden floors, textured brick, and carefully layered lighting create a space that’s stylish yet deeply comfortable. I leave a welcome pack with tea, coffee, and a few essentials to get you started, and if you run out, you’re surrounded by independent grocers and cafés just a short walk away — Ozone Coffee, Aubaine, and The Grocery among them.
What makes this home truly special, though, is its setting. Tabernacle Street sits quietly between Shoreditch’s energy and the City’s elegance — a hidden pocket where creativity meets calm. Step outside and you’re moments from morning coffee spots, evening bars, and the kind of restaurants people cross London for. It’s a home that gives you both — the vibrancy of Shoreditch and the space to unwind above it all.
You have access to the entire property with no disruptions. Should a maintenance query occur, you will be asked permission first before we access the property to carry out a repair.

We want everything about your stay to feel smooth, relaxed, and stress-free — so here’s the practical side of things, made easy.
Check-in / Check-out Standard check-in is from 4 PM, and check-out is by 10 AM. If you’d like a little flexibility, we’re happy to help where we can — just give us a heads up in advance (a small fee applies, and availability is subject to change). We kindly ask that you check out on time — our lovely cleaners often arrive right at 10:00 AM, and delays disrupt their entire day. A £20 fee applies for each half hour of unauthorised late check-out or early arrival.
Keys The day before you leave, we’ll send a quick reminder on how to return the keys — it’s super important to follow that, as our team relies on timely access. If the keys are left incorrectly, a £50 fee will be charged to cover the disruption.
If keys are lost, broken, or locked inside the flat, there’s a £100 fee to cover lock replacement. Locked yourself out? We can arrange a call-out for £60. Need an extra set of keys? We’re happy to help with 24 hours’ notice and a £100 deposit.
Parking There’s no private parking, but it’s easy to sort nearby: – Use RingGo for pay-as-you-go street parking – Apps like JustPark or YourParkingSpace often have great local options ZipCar users: parking isn’t included in their rates — you’ll need to book a bay separately.
Little guests Need a travel cot? We can arrange one for £40 (includes delivery and pickup). Want a high chair too? The full package is £45. Just give us 24 hours’ notice so we can get it ready in time. (Please bring your own cot bedding.)
No smoking, please This is a non-smoking home — and we do mean it. A £200 fine applies if smoking is detected.
Visitors and noise Please don’t invite extra guests over without prior permission, and keep things respectful — no parties or loud music. We’re in a peaceful residential area. A £250 fine applies for any breach of this.
Lost something? It happens! A third-party service handles shipping and charges a minimum of £25 per item, plus delivery costs.
Using the sofabed? Please give us at least 24 hours' notice, so we have enough time to get you fresh linen. Please note that there will be a £25 linen charge, which includes four towels.
Linen for longer stays Staying 21 nights or more? Our professional linen service requires a refresh every 21 days. You can choose: – Fresh linen delivery, or – Rehire the current set, which we’ll collect after you check out. Both options are billed the same.
Property Management Services
Pass the Keys® provides a hotel standard of service for short-let properties. The property is professionally maintained and cleaned. We guarantee professionally cleaned linens and toiletries. We also provide 24/7 guest support and local personal service before and during your stay. The local community-based team of Pass the Keys® personally inspects the property and certifies the home has met Pass the Keys®’s Property Readiness Standard.
IMPORTANT: On behalf of our host at Pass the Keys, we require guest verification facilitated by Truvi (Previously called Superhog). Upon confirming your booking, Truvi will contact the lead booker via a secure link, providing detailed instructions for the verification process.
The online verification requires a government-issued photo ID and a credit or debit card. During this process, you may choose between a refundable GBP 500 deposit (plus GBP 10 transaction fee currency equivalent) or purchase a non-refundable damage waiver of GBP 40 (currency equivalent) to cover potential damages during your stay.
Once the verification process is successfully completed, check-in information will be provided. If you opted in for a deposit, this will be refunded via credit/debit card after your stay, subject to an inspection of the property. Pets - not allowed Smoking - not allowed
