“Room was clean, wish the restroom had a fan, but the bed was very comfortable. We appreciated the chocolate on the pillows and bottled waters. The staff was very friendly and the common area was also nice to have with a microwave, coffee machine and refrigerator to use. Parking is free after 8pm and Sundays so that was helpful with a Saturday night stay. Quicker to take an Uber to visit Salem in October! Would highly recommend. ”

“The house was amazing. It felt like a bed and breakfast with a stocked kitchen and daily warm baked treats left out for you. Perfect location. Living room with fire places to cozy up to. “The Silsbee Suite was lovely! Its def just for 1 or 2 ppl even though the kitchen is huge there is only 1 queen bed and a couch. You also habe acess to your own private patio but we were out all day and didnt really utilize that. This property is in walkimg distance to everything you need to get to and see in Salem. It is an old house and you can hear EVERYTHING! Even the other guests if they sneeze or laugh so just be aware of that. I would def stay again ”

“The hotel quality was average, with a nice swimming pool and very good room cleaning service. On the downsides, the hotel has no laundry and we were particularly unlucky as our neighbors did run an apparently very entertaining (for them..) night party from 1030pm till 2am. That is not a fault of the hotel obviously, nevertheless we asked the reception for support at about midnight and if any action was taken, it had no effect on the party…”
