“A truly delightful hotel in a convenient location with excellent staff and facilities. Impossible to fault overall - 2 tips… dont park under the trees in front of the building. I dont know what the birds eat, but they eat A LOT of it. Then theres steps….pack light, you’ll be hauling your luggage up a LOT of steps :-) - its a 13th century manor house, lifts werent a “thing” !”

“It’s just a pub with some rooms. Dirty, smelly, cheap furniture and cheap mattress very uncomfortable, worst breakfast ever had, didn’t even offer a glass of orange juice. Staff leave the place in the night and guests are left on their own until the next morning. Horrible experience.”

“I wouldn’t really say I’m a fussy person, I can put up with a lot and I’m quite resilient but my ‘stay’ at The Jersey Arms hotel was a very good way to force some impromptu character development and really make me contemplate a lot of my life choices. Being honest the receptionist was a sweetheart and did the best that they could, but the hotel was a different story entirely. “Fabulous stay, wonderful welcoming staff, amazing food”

“Dog friendly rooms are on ground floor. These aren't comparable to other standard rooms, but charged at same rate plus an additional £20 cleaning charge. Our room was basically furnished with painted plain MDF wardrobe in corner. Window was open in all these rooms presumably to help with smell. Carpets we're stained and smell was very noticeable when windows closed. Despite these comments to reception, we were still charged the additional cleaning fee.”
