Nice house. Good layout. Good location. Private and quiet neighborhood. Whitney beach is right across the main road and not super crowded. Also a lot of good food in the close proximity.

Clean and comfortable home in a great location, just steps from what we felt was the best beach on Longboat Key. The beds were very comfortable, and there were plenty of towels provided. The screened-in back patio was a nice space, though access is through the main bedroom.Some beach items were heavily used and not fully functional, including the wagon, umbrellas, and chairs, which made beach setup a bit challenging. We also found that many basic household and kitchen essentials were limited. With a group of seven staying eight days, we needed to restock items such as paper towels, trash bags, dishwasher tabs, toilet paper, hand soap, and laundry detergent, as well as a few additional kitchen basics.None of these were major issues, but it would be nice to have more essentials available for longer stays, especially given the ample cabinet space. With a few updates, this would be an even more enjoyable place to stay.

The yard had rusty metal, bad outdoor furniture, dangerous chunks, bad for children or pets. The setting was good, but the yard was badly neglected. Inside was clean and pleasant. Fridge freezes things, easily fixable. We like the neighborhood. Yard needs attention. Could be charming.

Very convenient to beach. Safe neighborhood. Sunrise can be seen by Shore which is a couple of blocks away. Shore is an excellent restaurant and is in the neighborhood.

We had a wonderful stay at this Longboat Key property. The location was perfect — just a short walk to the beach and close to great local restaurants. The house itself was beautiful, clean, and very functional for our family. It felt like a true getaway spot.The owner was very responsive and helpful, especially when a few minor issues came up. They handled everything quickly and made sure we were comfortable.There are just a few small things I wish had been included to make the stay even better: a grill for outdoor cooking, kitchen towels, and a basic iron and ironing board. None of these were dealbreakers, but they’re items we’ve come to expect when renting a vacation home.Overall, we highly recommend this property and would definitely stay here again.

I'm sorry to say that the house was not what it was pictured in the brochure for verbal and there was a lot of issues I do not believe it was rent ready a lot of electrical wires hanging couldn't use the lanai in the backyard or the backyard was awful I will have pictures if you would like to see

Love the peacocks!

Yes the wandering wild peacocks were an interesting addition. The house was adequate for our needs. There was no grill that had been listed. We were unable to lock one of the doors which was a concern, and did not hear back from Will when we told him. Overall had a good time!

Great beach vacation

Had a wonderful time at Longboat Key. House was perfect for the 2 of us and communication with the property manager was excellent. So close to beautiful beaches and great restaurants. The peacocks were a beautiful attraction!

Peacock Palace!

This is a darling house super close to Shore and Mar Vista restaurant as well as kayak rentals - we walked to them all. 2 peacocks roam the neighborhood and greeted us every morning. Dealing w/2 bathrooms was rough (for 5 of us), but we knew that going in. They fixed everything after the hurricane and while there is still work going on on the island, beach, restaurants and water sports all available. They need to fix the electricity in the twin bedroom, but other than that, great little house!

Cute beach house on longboat key

Cute beach house with four bedrooms. Located not far from a gorgeous beach. The location is great for being near the beach, but, there’s really not a lot nearby in terms of being able to walk to a store to pick up milk, etc. I think that should be noted. The traffic is also getting pretty bad at times going over the bridge into Anna Maria, and we actually missed a dinner reservation. There is a cute coffee shop that’s within walking distance that I wish we had known about earlier.

Peaceful stay at longboat key

The property looked exactly like the photos. It was clean, in a very quiet neighbourhood close to the beach & some good restaurants. Beds were comfortable. Kitchen could have done with more stock (there were 8 of us staying & not enough crockery or cutlery) but wasn’t a huge issue. We loved the location & how quiet it was, so would definitely stay again.
