“Sam was an excellent and responsive host. We enjoyed having coffee every morning on the balcony looking out at the lake. The evenings were nice sitting by the fire pit with a nice fire. The location was very convenient for exploring different areas nearby.”

The girls loved the hammock and running around the spacious back yard. We didn't get to use the fire pit this trip, but it was a very nice setup with firewood provided. Very relaxing and pleasant home, would definitely recommend this for your trip to lake placid.”

“Host was great at communication and very helpful. It is an older beautiful house with lots of beds and a beautiful view of the lake. We were greeted by snacks and a bottle of wine to decompress, which was a really nice touch. On top of that we were there for several days and he even offered to bring us more K cup pods or any other items that we would need. Even the kitchen was stocked with things like plastic baggies, which comes in handy if you have leftovers and you typically don’t have those...
