Great weekend getaway

Stayed here with my family for a weekend getaway to a concert. Super close to the airport and the area we stayed in was very nice and quiet. The host was very accommodating and responsive. Overall great stay.

Quiet, clean, and perfectly located!

Exactly as described. Well appointed with everything we needed for a quick weekend visit. Despite being right next to LAX, we were completely unbothered by runway noise thanks to updated double paned windows. As previously stated, the bathroom has some challenges with water... the sink tends to splatter due to a shallow bowl and tall spigot, and the shower it a bit challenging to figure out at first and also splatters outside the enclosure, but thankfully the host provides a floor squeegee and there is a drain embedded in the tile next to the tub. Will definitely book again when we return next year!

Cute comfy house

The unit was perfect for our needs. Easy access code for door so no need to keep track of keys. The Main Street area of El Segundo has great restaurants and bars and is about a 20 minute walk from the house. Enjoyed our stay and would stay again!

Cozy home by LAX

Comfortable, lovely, and welcoming home in a quiet neighborhood feet from LAX. Check in was a breeze, and thank you for the great communication from the owner. Driverway parking for one car, bed was comfortable, kitchen had all the cooking things, bathroom was clean and well supplied. Future renters should note: - The shower contraption is complicated and takes some figuring out. I felt bad about wasting water, but a few minutes of knob turning was worth it. (I couldnt find a YT video for that configuration) - The bathroom sink spout is placed very high over the bowl, so water splashes everywhere. Do keep a face towel handy and shield anything you don't want to get wet. - The oven gets quite smoky, setting off the smoke alarm. Be sure to keep the air purifier ON and maybe open a few windows as a precaution. - The placement of the master bed, against the wall, is such that the person on the outside must get out of bed if the other person wants to get up. - All windows are in view of either the street or the house next door. If modesty is your jam, be sure to wear at least a robe at all times. Thanks again to the owner for a pleasant stay!

Convenient and nice neighborhood with a clean house

Easy to communicate with the owner, clean house with a nice kitchen with 5 gas burners. Good washer and dryer. Walking distance to local restaurants, and beach, easy to hop on to high way to go anywhere, close to grocery stores.

Wonderful location and clean house

The house was in a great location. It was well stocked and clean. The only thing I would recommend is to replace the beds in the second room. They are very, very uncomfortable. We don’t spend a great deal of time in the house but would appreciate a comfortable bed and they were not comfortable. The master bed is comfortable but could use a headboard. I would definitely recommend the house.

El Segundo my home town.

My husband and I came to visit friends and family. I lived in ElSegundo fir 64 years but mived to Michigan after my first husband died., to be with my kids. This hiuse was so comfy and cozy. When we come back this will be the house we pick every time. The owner is the best communicator and is very kide. That is huge to us.

Cute but you can’t control the thermostat!

Cute place but be warned, there’s a governor on the air conditioning so you can’t set it below 78. When you arrive, it may be almost 90 in the house and would take hours to cool down! I contacted the owner who said they’d do us a favor and let it be set to 76, my son has a heart condition and cannot sleep in warm environments, which I also conveyed. We left within an hour but did not get any refund whatsoever. They need to list this in the ad! If you like uncomfortably hot environments, this is the place for you!

Great Location

Tucked in right next to LAX and the beach. Great location for Uber or walking to downtown El Segundo for food and drinks. Ubered to SoFi for $20 or so. Comfortable and full of all the things you need in the house.

Nice Location, Quiet Neighborhood

Really nice home conveniently located close to beachfront areas. Lots of space, beautiful furniture. The shower situation took a bit to figure out, but it was kind of fun/unique/interesting too. A number of windows with no coverings - we've learned to bring large trash bags and command strips with us on these trips, and they worked great. Only possible issue - they set the A/C so that 76 is the coolest it will go, which isn't a huge deal for most of the year but in the summer (while we were there) it got a little warm inside and stayed warm throughout the evenings. Wasn't enough for us to even bring it up, but if that's too warm for you to be comfortable, I'd recommend contacting the host before booking to see if that can be adjusted. Other than that, no complaints, and would stay again if/when we visit the area again.

Excellent location for college tours!

This was the perfect location for our family to visit several area colleges that were spread out all over the LA area. The property was clean and exactly what we were hoping for in our stay. The host was outstanding in their communication.

Convenient to LA Activities

This VRBO is very convenient to the activities we planned—beach, horseback riding, golf etc. It has all the amenities we needed. And the owner was very responsive on the one request we had.

Location Location

We loved this house as a family. It was close to the airport, the beach, convenience store. Very nice neighborhood. The only thing to consider is that being so close to the airport you hear a plane over now and there. We live about 3 min from an air base, so we were like home. Lol. Taking a shower is amazing with all the shower sprayers and waterfall style shower head. The patio is very relaxing. The rooms feel great with all wood floors. The kitchen is very well equipped. We truly enjoyed our stay.

Quiet and Comfortable

Nice house in a quiet neighborhood. Great for relaxing in between sightseeing. Very close to LAX so you can hear planes fly over frequently. It wasn't an issue for us. Dockweiler public beach is about 1.5 miles away and the planes fly right overhead, which was fun to experience. No issues booking the house or communicating with the host, Bob.
