DO NOT STAY HERE
So awful! Truly terrible. I usually don't leave bad reviews. I understand people have bad days and that's the balance of things, but this was bad and continued to get worse.
1. Didn't have my reservation.
2. Took the full payment out of my account TWO WEEKS before check in
3. Had to argue with the ring camera that I did have a reservation. To the point where a neighbor came out and asked me if someone was helping me. I had to call Vrbo and have them call the host to confirm that I did have a reservation and that I already paid.
4. The gate to get in the place swings open on its own. Does not lock.
5. Door was covered in cobwebs.
6. Had to throw a shoulder to get the door open.
7. THE WHOLE PLACE REEKS OF MOLD. IT'S LIKE STEPPING INSIDE OF AN OLD WET MOP.
8. The bed was wet.
I stayed all of one night then packed up my things and checked into a hotel.
Once checked in to my hotel, I called Vrbo and made an official complaint about the uncivil quality of this location. All I asked for was a partial refund. I just wanted my money back for the days that I wasn't there. The host then sent me a nasty message saying "I was trying to take advantage of them." and that they "will not provide any refund".
Still in a back and forth with the host via Vrbo as I will not engage with this person again.
She STOLE the money for the days that I didn't stay there.
All I want is my money back for the days that I wasn't there. But now the host is being childish and throwing a tantrum.
