Unfortunately, our stay at SpringHill Suites Burbank/Los Angeles did not meet expectations due to multiple maintenance, cleanliness, and comfort issues.
During the night, our toilet overflowed and flooded the bathroom and some of the bedroom, which required us to change rooms in the middle of the night. While the staff handled the room change promptly and were polite and professional, the situation itself was disruptive and stressful.
Both rooms showed clear signs of poor upkeep. The carpets appeared dirty, with visible stains, and the couches and lamp shades were also stained. Additionally, the rooms had an unpleasant, musty odor that made the stay uncomfortable.
The hotel does offer complimentary breakfast; however, the breakfast area is very small and crowded. It was difficult to move around to get food, and finding available seating afterward was challenging. As for the food itself, some items were acceptable, while others tasted unpleasant and were below expected quality.
The staff deserves credit for being courteous and helpful, but the property itself is clearly lacking proper maintenance, deep cleaning, and overall upkeep. This hotel has potential, but it needs significant attention to meet the standards expected of this brand.
Based on our experience, I would not recommend this property until these issues are addressed.
