Welcome to Sycamore Villa II outfitted with all new furnishings, beds, linens and towels! The bedrooms carry the promise of restful sleep, courtesy of new memory foam mattresses. This 2,200 sq ft home displays a contemporary open-plan living space with neutral tones and soft furnishings that will make hanging out a breeze. It's light and airy throughout the day, thanks to the high ceilings and hardwood floors, and come evening the dramatic skyline will add extra sparkle to your night.

But that's if you can peel yourself away from the decked terrace and picturesque tranquility towards the backside of the house. Ascend the stairway to your secluded haven with 2 outdoor balcony areas, complete with a BBQ Grill, create the ultimate spot for morning coffees and sunrise stretches in the crisp canyon air.

Outside your little hilltop oasis, you’ll find yourself at the very heart of the Hollywood Hills, a stone’s throw away from Hollywood Boulevard. Plus walking distance is the Magic Castle and the iconic Yamashiro Hollywood restaurant, a sushi & Cal-Asian fare served amid gardens & a koi pond overlooking the city.

Please note ** (1) Small garage parking available ideal for small cars only. Large SUVs, vans or trucks will NOT fit inside the garage. We also provide 1 parking permit pass for overnight parking, be mindful of parking signs. Residential street parking available. No RV's, trailers or hitches permitted. Hollywood Hills roads are very well known to be narrow and windy.

Please note we have security camera's throughout the perimeter of the property for the safety of the home.

HOUSE RULES:

It is our mission to ensure that our valued guests enjoy their stay with us! This is a permitted vacation rental with the City of LA. We also have an equally as important commitment to our neighbors and our community. Below are the house rules that we must enforce. Please read them as well as all your guests prior to confirming your reservation.

* Minimum age to book is 25 years old. Valid photo IDs will be required from all Adult guests.

* Check-in is after 4 pm | Check out is at 11 am.

MAX NUMBER OF OCCUPANTS 8 - includes infants. Extra Guest Fee applies
The Property is to be occupied by no more than the maximum sleep number stated on reservation unless approved in writing by Management. If Guest exceeds the occupancy limit and falsifies occupancy information at the time of reservation, Guest shall be subject to eviction. "Occupants" includes small children, infants and any and all visitors. If more than the maximum number is found to be occupying the Property at any time, you agree that a charge of $100 per person/per day will be made to your credit card. Additionally, this Agreement may be immediately terminated without a refund of any amounts paid. No Exceptions.

NO PARTIES OR EVENTS - due to the City of LA's strict ban of parties of large groups we need exact head counts of your guests at all times.

A party is defined as any combination of the following; ANY loud noise and/or excessive drinking that is disruptive to neighboring houses and/or guests outnumbering the maximum amount permitted as defined above. A party will result in an immediate eviction from the property with no refund given under any circumstance. Any exceptions to this policy must be approved by iTrip in writing prior to the arrival date.

NEIGHBOR COMPLAINTS
Actions by guests that result in neighbor complaints or police being called to the Property will result in a minimum $250 charge, which charge will be used to deal with legal issues and fines.

CITY OF LA NOISE ORDINANCE - QUIET HOURS: 10 pm – 8 am. No Outdoor Music or Loud Voices during this time.

NO SMOKING Smoking is allowed outside only. If any trace of smoke is found inside the home, there will be a strictly enforced $500 fine and the cost to eliminate residual odors.

* In the event of an emergency to perform necessary repairs and/or maintenance, we reserve the right to enter the property.

Hands down, the most amazing VRBO we have ever stayed in. The location and views are incredible -- day or night, you will never get tired of sitting on the terrace and taking in the view of the LA skyline. The only thing competing will be the temptation to take a nice long bath in the wonderful soaking tub, which the 2 of us who love baths made use of each of the 4 nights we stayed in the home. There was plenty of space and privacy for our group of 2 parents and 4 young adults. The location is convenient for exploring LA, a city in which we'd previously not spent much time but now love and want to return to. The home is modern and well equipped, with everything you need for a comfortable stay. We had 2 small issues that we reported the morning after we checked in: an empty propane tank for the gas grill, and only one burner working on the stove. Within an hour of us reporting these issues, they were rectified.One warning: the home has a lot of stairs, and the neighborhood is very hilly -- not an problem for us, but something to keep in mind if your group includes anyone with mobility challenges. Street parking near the home is minimal, and our car was too big for the garage. If you'll have a similar situation, expect to park a bit farther from the house and walk up. We generally had one of us drop the rest of our group at the house, then go park. We will remember this one for a long time, and hope to return someday!

The house is beautiful and has a great view of the Hollywood Hills. It’s new and clean. My husband always wanted to stay in this area and we can cross this off the bucket list. The drawback is the narrow road and parking. I don’t think even a small car could fit in the garage as there isn’t room to open the doors. We had a small SUV and had to climb out the trunk. After we parked on the street, but it’s hard to find parking and it’s dangerous getting in and out as the road is so narrow and cars fly around the corners. The house itself is beautiful though.

Great view of DTLA & clean. The location is also convenient & close to freeways for easy access.The garage will only fit a small car & since we were a party of 6, the minivan we needed to accommodate us had to be parked on the street. Most of the time we were able to find parking at the top of the hill, so it wasn’t an issue. There were times that we had to park at the bottom of the hill & walk up. This may be an issue for people with mobility issues who cannot easy walk uphill.We had significant noise issues with the unit above, that the same host rents out, in the bedroom behind the kitchen. It sits underneath an area of the upstairs unit where you can hear the other guests moving around. If you have trouble sleeping with noise, this bedroom may be unusable for sleep. Of the 11 nights we were there, we had trouble 5 of the nights.We contacted the host multiple times regarding the noise & only once did they respond timely. Granted we contacted them early in the morning or late at night, but that was when their guests kept us from sleeping. Other times it took days for them to respond. When the host did respond they stated that they have no control how guests behave & kindly ask that they comply and respect quiet hours. It's unfortunate that quiet hours are unenforceable or just not enforced. The host stated they did not respond because of the holidays. But it would seem a vacation rental company would provide guest support during peak travel times, like holidays.

I would highly recommend this home. Very spacious, well maintained. The views were stunning from both balconies. The 3 full bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms were great, as well as the full size washer & dryer. Communication was always quick if we had a question.

I stayed here for 3 nights in May. I really enjoyed the spacious rooms and interior decor of the townhouse. The interior was very clean and comfortable. The bedroom and bathroom arrangements work well for large groups or multiple couples. The city lights are beautiful at night and you get great views from both balconies. The location is ideal if you're planning to spend time in West Hollywood and Beverly Hills, and driving into the downtown area was relatively accessible by car. The listing is accurate about the size of the parking garage. I couldn't fit my car (Subaru Forester) in it, so I used the permit for street parking.

The view speaks for itself however, I’d be remiss if I didn’t say that it was the absolutely most spectacular Vista. This VRBO is spacious and beautiful! We shared it with our two adult sons and their wives. It was the best family Vacay we have taken this far and I attribute it. I’m onto the location. 😘

Was in LA to commemorate the passing of someone close. Was a delicate time for all, but the house was a place of joy. The view, the location, and the space itself. It was a place of serenity and calm, and a meeting point for us to gather with local friends. The only reason I'm not giving a 5/5 is for: 1. Beautiful new tub doesn't run hot water. Doesn't seem to be hooked up correctly. It basically has two temperatures -- cold and "not cold." 2. Master bedroom is super bright in the mornings. The curtains provide little relief from the sun...windows face east, so my fiancee had to use an eye mask every day. 3. It's not "lived in." There are utensils and appliances, but the space is huge and the kitchen has nothing in it -- basic stuff that can be used by any guest, like cooking oil, ketchup packets. There were like 10 kitchen cabinets with literally nothing in them. So, it didn't feel like "home." No coffee pot, just 4 coffee Kuerig pods -- for a huge house. No detergent...so, if you need to wash one load of clothes, you have to buy a jug and leave it behind, which the guests behind you will never receive. I guess what I'm saying is that the "homey-ness" is inefficient. But, everything else kinda made up for those inconveniences. Overall, if coming to LA, this is a great place to be for a few days. It gives you the best access to the city, and one of the best views of the city, you'll likely find. All in all, 4.5/5.0

The views are outstanding, but the upstairs wall of glass should have curtains to help block the sun when needed. Also the downstairs guest bathroom needs blinds. My 12 year old was showering and the yard maintenance guys showed up and could see in the bathroom. After that she only used the primary bathroom. The garage is extremely narrow and had we rented a bigger car it would have never fit. Also, its extremely difficult to get in and out of this garage! If you plan to Uber it's perfect! Had a great time in Cali and thank you for your hospitality.

This is definitely a rental-only property and does not have the homey feel if you are looking for that. The only thing I would suggest is getting a fan for every bedroom and a couple of blankets for the family room.
