“I arrived when their water was shut off and had a boil notice. I booked this hotel for the restaurant inside. I was put off by the front desk staff when I asked what are some good restaurants around. I just flew from CO to DFW and drove over to Marshall to visit an old camp. I was exhausted. “Everything was in order and it is not some run down house. Big place with a lot of old times interior and wood carving. The outside is big and great for sitting in peace. I liked the location for getting up to the national forest but also to Lake Bistenau and of course around town. ”

“The stay was great! The only concerns, the day of checkout, went to breakfast and return to room and we were already locked out. Had to get someone to let us in. This happened before noon check out. A couple of the face towels were beyond dingy. Other than that, would stay again.”
