“The property is beautiful. Our room was lovely—very clean and comfortable. The seating in our room was perfect for reading, and the balcony an extra treat. Allen was so gracious and helpful. The location was great for dinner plans and a short easy drive to Churchill Downs. Breakfast was delicious—especially the biscuits and gravy. And, the young lady that served us breakfast was very nice and helpful. I’d recommend this Bed and Breakfast to anyone who is planning to spend time in...

“Such a lovely building, clearly loved by all who work there. Information about the property, check-in procedure, etc. was communicated very clearly before my arrival. Fresh lemon blueberry scones were there for a snack when I arrived near midnight. Wow. When booking, I didn’t think about the lack of elevator at this property. My 68 year old knees did complain a little when climbing the external & interior stairs with my luggage.”

“The king suite was perfect for two adults and two children on pullout sofa. Very Comfortable,Clean and spacious. The pool is smaller but has a great seating area. We took advantage of evening snacks and breakfast with made to order omelets. Building is beautiful It was a great visit”

“First of all, the front desk staff are friendly and very helpful. With that being said Dear Expedia..I received confirmation of my reservation from you, yet when we arrived it wasn't registered at the hotel. It took one of the ladies almost 20 minutes to get it registered. She said this does happen from time to time. The check in process seemed to be a little time consuming for everyone that I saw. We were in for 511. It was clean and the bed was OK. My husbands side of the bed made a noise...

“Large for a Holiday Inn Express & Suites, this newer downtown Louisville hotel is on the threshold between re-gentrified downtown and some sketchy areas. Staff and accommodations are what you'd expect from IHG. Parking can be confusing. It's right next door, but you've already passed it on a one-way street once you're at check-in. If you're loyal to Holiday Inn Express & Suites, you might want to try the other downtown Louisville location. (Uber and Lyft drivers confuse the two.) ”

“They are infested with roaches”

“Linens weren’t changed prior to check in. The pillow cases were obviously reused. There was beard hair in the sink, dirt in the shower. Gaps and cracks in caulking.”
