“It was our second stay at this hotel with the family. The location is excellent, with a beautiful ocean view, and the room was spacious and equipped with all the necessary amenities. Overall, the room was clean, although there were a few flies that had likely gotten in at some point.
The main issue during our stay was the extremely poor sound insulation and the noise from the neighbors above us. On the first night, there was prolonged loud noise coming from their room that was clearly audible...

“Clean room nice staff but the rooms are not comfy. Could use a chair and better light. Plus, a smoke alarm went off in the middle of the night and the hightntime person had to come and remove it. She apologized but honestly it left me super anxious and we never heard another thing about it.”

“The appeared to be a little rough around the collar, not as professional as most places. However, the stay itself was good. The rooms are nice, as are the amenities such as sitting room with fireplace. The breakfast in the morning was quite terrible some items being overcooked others items being cold.
The wine and cheese from 5 to 6 was a very nice gesture, I enjoyed that. Also loved having the wonderful fireplace on the rainy night.”

“Beach View is an older property, however the rooms and bathrooms have been updated with upscale fixtures and plush linens. The big plus is that the hotel is 1/2 block to the beach and only a short walk to Rehoboth Avenue (the main street that bisects the town and ends at the beach) and the boardwalk. There are many restaurants within a short walking distance, even a couple next door to the hotel. The hotel lobby has a couple of nice seating areas, as well as tables for breakfast. A nice touch...

“Facilities were clean and well kept.
WARNING: What you should know is that Dewey Beach is not like Rehoboth. Rehoboth is quiet, but Dewey is for partiers. This particular hotel was filled with college students who treated it like a dorm room. Screaming in the halls until 3am. There are loud clubs across the street. We were up until 3am both nights given the noise and other hotel residents being really loud. If you're not looking to party, would suggest another area. We are exhausted from this...
