HI Robert Thank you for staying at HIll Top. In regards to the water pressure.. We are not on town water with the high pressure that you may be use to ,but you can still get a good shower. We had been fighting bush fires all week prior to you arriving which creates a lot of dust and dirt. We are all good now with a fire break around us. We look forward to seeing you again soon.

It was good to hear that you had a fantastic time in the valley after being disappointed that the concert was cancelled.It just goes to show that the Hunter Valley has much more to offer than just concerts.Refurbishment took place in 2017. The standard room is not an apartment, it is one of the rooms in the Guest house. When you book a standard room it includes the room you sleep in and the use of the various sitting rooms and the large verandah that the rooms open onto The rooms are all of legal size and the standard room includes a comfortable queen size bed which you can sleep in for as many nights as you like with two bedside chests of drawers and a built in wardrobe with solid timber doors. The room has a sliding door opening onto the verandah. Tea/coffee facilities are in the closest sitting room. A electric BBQ is available upon request. A large TV is in the sitting room and the billiards room.The guest house also has deluxe rooms and a suite We do have apartments if you are looking for something semi-self contained, with kitchenettes, double spa baths, private balconies and king beds, these are large enough for a family. Good comprehension is important when you are booking on line.

Thank you for your comments.I wish that you had mentioned the water when you had problems as I could have helped you overcome this If you are use to high pressure town water you might not know the "trick" of controlling "country" facilities/

Hi Nikki. Your experience does not warrant you saying not to book this hotel. Between your screams and abuse towards me upon arriving you stated that you had phoned me to see if I had availability (many people phone me so I can not identify your particular call) You said that you then went on line and booked and therefore I would have had the room. This is not the case because there are various sites that people can book on and whilst you was phoning me and not booking, someone else had made a booking. When your booking came through I attempted to phone you with no response and I phoned and emailed the online provider several times. I did not confirm your booking and I did not take payment . Therefore your booking was not confirmed. The booking form states that you need to contact me to advise of your arrival time. Had you done this you would have been advised that your booking had not been confirmed and that I had no availability.I was fully booked. I was not rude to you. Your partner asked for a copy of the booking which I printed off for him and I also looked up the list of availability in the area to see if I could find somewhere else you could stay. All the time you was literally screaming at the top of your voice until your partner sent you to the car, In regards to the other couple leaving it had nothing to do with the state of the room. The room is a popular room opening onto the verandah where you can sit and watch the sunset After spending 3 hours on the property they decided that they wanted a room with its own private bathroom .It is noted on the booking form that it does not have its own ensuite (which many people do not find a problem as the bath room is close by and it is not a priority) however for this couple who did not comprehend the booking form, it was.This room takes 2 people .You had brought an unbooked third person.

Thank you for your comments.We do have rooms with ensuites and all my records state that the room that you booked on line had a shared bathroom.This arrangement could have been changed to suite you had you mentioned it to me. The air condition is adjustable to suite and I have checked the fans and did not find any awful noise. Fans can be like light bulbs. There is a large TV hanging from the ceiling in the sitting room at the end of the hallway, away from the bedrooms , for the guests to watch. I am on site all the time so as if you find something not to your liking can be attended to at the time so as to make your stay enjoyable
