“The Baer House exceeded our expectations. It was furnished with so many unique 1800’s pieces. The breakfast was delicious. Latonya was a wonderful hostess. She was kind, friendly and knowledgeable about the house and the furnishings.”

“If you’re looking for a real historical place to stay, this is it. Very well maintained..bathrooms in our building, Halpino, was excellent..all redone. Bed very comfortable, floors creeked but very old building. Breakfast was at another building you could walk too. Was excellent and fancy. Was in a further area from historic downtown but easy drive. Historic it is perfect for Vicksburg.”

“Room was very clean but had a funny smell. Parking was easy and location was great to walk downtown. Pool area was locked so we didn’t explore it. There’s plenty of green space outside hotel for dogs and quiet walking streets. Guests ring a bell for staff and they are very friendly.”

“Staff was excellent. Facilities where clean and well maintained. We stayed in the room next to the pool. Voices could be heard in the room next door because of connection through air vents. Was not a problem for us but might be for others.”

“Loved everything about this stay. Balcony was the best part. Loved the rockers and new furniture. Walking distance to top restaurants/bars. Felt very safe. Entrance to building and elevator had door codes.”

“The staff was great, very helpful with everything we asked. Our room was not great. Didn't feel clean and relaxing like other La Quintas. I didn't notice it until the morning but the fire sprinkler in ceiling was leaking and had black mold around it. Won't stay at this La Quinta again. I will say, they refunded our stay fully with the power outage from the storm and the leak in the room.”

“Perfetta per uno stop overnight. Lontana dal centro abitato quindi dovrete prendere l'auto se volete visitare il centro di Vicksburg. Accanto all'albergo c'è un ristorante messicano e poco altro. Struttura messa bene, buona la pulizia delle camere.”

“Coffee hit the spot.very good Starbucks coffee. Carpenter bees swarming in the back terrace not allowing us to sit outside and enjoy the balcony. Bed not very comfortable.”

“None of the Motel 6's that we stayed at during this trip had breakfasts available, although it was advertised to have breakfast. A lot of remodeling going on, loud construction and workers taking up the parking spaces in front of the guest rooms, so it was not convenient to unload and load luggage. Guests should be compensated with a gift card for breakfast or a room discount.”
