Hotel a Lower Southgate

“Great location very close to the beach, shops and restaurants. Room nice and clean with a beautiful view. Easy to park and very friendly staff with easy check-in/check-out. Property is undertaking renovations but that didn’t bother us for a short stay. ”

“Booked & paid for Ensuite family cabin but was given a family cabin instead. Air conditioning didn’t work.”

“The room is tastefully renovated. I like the large walk-in shower area. It is located next to the river, so you can go for a nice evening walk, weather permitting.”

“Stayed for a wedding, rooms were clean, it is central to everything, management were absolutely delightful to deal with and nothing was a bother, we arrived after 9 pm and the key was in a locked box with easy access, the bowls club was fantastic great food and it is right next door to the motel”

“Bed was comfortable room was good. It said there was a kitchenette if that means tea and coffee facilities they were right. To me a kitchenette should at least has a microwave. Service was good customer friendly Pool was nice I would be a return customer.”

“When checking in the lady was busy on the phone and asked her husband to attend to me, unfortunately another guest (who apparently is a regular) came in and was attended to before me. I was upset by this. The room was clean but the toilet seat did not stay up whilst using it.”

“Camp kitchen available but didn't require it. Quiet despite being on main road. Close to most things. Decor was odd but all equipment worked despite age. Beds comfortable enough. Plenty of pillows and new towels daily. Rooms spacious enough. Would stay again if we were there.”

“I booked a superior queen room that was far below its description. it was literally a triangle with the bed taking up three quarters of the room. it was supposed to have ocean views however they were only seen from the far corner of the veranda. It was however in a good location to the beach and restaurants.”
