Two Twenty Two Farm Stay

Considered a hidden gem, this 3-bedroom rural property homestead is set privately within a tranquil location and surrounded by beautiful gardens. Part of King Islands only Certified Organic Cattle Farm it is situated on Robbins Rd halfway between Currie & Grassy.
DESCRIPTION
Originally developed and settled by returning soldiers from the Second World War in the 1950’s and with the homestead’s recent renovations Two Twenty-Two Farm-Stay is now an ideal holiday home for couples, families and friends accommodating up to six people. You can relax with a wine under the veranda and let the birds entertain you with their songs and funny antics or be taken on a Family Farm Tour and learn about our personal journey from Queensland to King Island and the ways of farming on our magnificent and highly productive Island. Attractions such as the islands three golf courses, its fabulous beaches, great fishing spots and walking tracks are all within close proximity.
FACILITIES:
Two night minimum stay.
Fully self-contained.
3 Bedrooms – 2 x Queen beds & 3rd bedroom x 2 single beds.
Quality linen & towels provided.
1 bathroom with shower and separate toilet.
Shampoo, conditioner, soap, and hand/body wash provided.
Kitchen with gas cooktop, wall oven with all kitchen staples provided.
Semi stocked pantry of basic essentials.
Two living areas with separate dining room.
Wood heater & heat pump to keep you warm.
Large TV, books & games.
Laundry has washing machine & dryer with iron & ironing board.
Undercover deck.
Weber barbeque.
Fishing rods, boogie boards available for guests use
Fire extinguisher, blanket & first aid kit provided for your safety

220 Farmstay ... a haven on a special Island

Initially the Manager made us most welcome, bringing flowers, muffins and words of advice .. an unexpected and delightful surprise ... and we soon found the homestead comfortable, clean and attractive with plenty of space, great beds and all the mod cons. The garden is just heavenly - filled with flowers, trees and an array of local birdlife ... not to mention cheeky wallabies and the occasional wild turkey or pheasant! 220 was the perfect base from which to go forth daily to meet friends, explore KI's amazingly pristine beaches, unique scenery and townships and, of course, enjoy great food. The Islanders are all very friendly and we found it easy to relax on our holiday. Incidentally the air is unbelievably clean and fresh on KI ... so make sure to take great lungfuls of it! This farmstay and the island were a joy - and truly a lovely place on earth.

Peaceful and comfortable with wildlife

The house was spacious and well appointed. It had everything we needed and was very clean. The garden was beautiful and contained many birds and animals. We had easy access to towns like Curry and Grassy and other places of interest. We wanted to stay longer but had bookings in Tasmania. Extremely enjoyable stay and would stay again if we had the chance.

A quiet Oasis

A very comfortable 3 bedroom Farmstay. Clean and open space with comfy beds, space to relax all the little kitchen amenties have been considerd. If you need a quiet peaceful and relaxing space this is perfecr.
