We've named this house the Giving House because the owners of this home are dedicating 100% of profits above the mortgage and management fees towards an international humanitarian aid organization. We are so grateful for our guests who choose to stay here- it makes an impact across the world!

The house was was comfortable and fully set up with everything needed for a multi-week stay. It had a nice vibe, and easily accommodated everyone.The location was very convenient, easy to get in and out, close to shopping, and to Liberty University. Yet the location felt somewhat secluded as it is at the end of a cul-de-sac.The hosts were responsive to all messages, and easy to work with.

I was disappointed. The pictures online don’t match the property. For the price, I paid, my expectation was high. The property needs a serious update. Bathroom, painting, old smell. There were wasps in the house mainly in the kitchen. I will not recommend this property.

Such a nice house on a cul-de-sac. We had trouble with the air conditioning unit, but the hosts had someone out quickly and had it fixed right away for us! It is a lovely house, clean and set up so well. We would definitely book again if we go back to Lynchburg!

Lynchburg Convenience and comfort

Exactly as advertised, comfortable for our family of 4. Safe location and convenient to all that we needed/wanted to do. Hosts were accessible and friendly. Also added bonus to know that we were supporting causes that are aligned with our values.

Spacious home where nature abounds

We enjoyed this well appointed home for an Easter Holiday weekend. We especially enjoyed the nature watching off of the back deck as well as the spacious kitchen and bedrooms.

Great weekend trip!

We had a great stay at The Giving House. We enjoyed playing ping pong and loved having two king beds! There was plenty of room to relax and for the adults and kids to have separate spaces.

We had a short stay in this home while we were taking our daughter to LU. Fully stocked, clean and convenient location! The host was excellent and we appreciated her kind arrangement during our stay.

Nicely accessible for Liberty University

This was a lovely property to house my family as we visited our LIberty University student. It was beautiful, comfortable, and easily accessible to and from campus. The only issue was a loud neighbor the first night--maybe in the neighborhood across the creek? It was fine the other nights, so maybe it was just someone who had a rough Friday night. :-)

Everything We Needed

We loved your home. It met all of our expectations. Quiet relaxing neighborhood, convenient to things. The kitchen had everything we needed. The beds were very comfortable.... with the exception of the futon. I ended up sleeping with a 10-year-old one night. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. We even had some wildlife sightings. Thank you for your hospitality
