“Ac not working properly and broken elevator ”

“The boutique hotel was beautifully decorated as were the rooms. It was surprising that the kitchen in room had everything we needed for a 5 day stay. Love the nearly full size refrigerator. It made it easier for us to not eat out all our meals. Freezer capacity was nice for frozen treats and freezing water bottles for our picnics. Location next to HEB grocery store super convenient! Only drawback is the surrounding area is transitioning. ”

“This hotel is very nice, however, the staff is very inconsiderate and not very helpful. On my very first night staying, there was no ice in our room, because the ice maker in the refrigerator does not work. I was told that if I wanted ice, I had to drive to Walmart.... at 11:30pm. So we did without ice. The next morning, the shower leaked all over the floor and out into the hallway. This is not their fault as it is a shower design for wheelchair use. “I had a good stay at the Courtyard by Marriott Austin South. It’s a solid business hotel with everything you need for a comfortable trip. The room was clean and well kept, the bed and pillows were comfortable, and I appreciated having access to a pool, gym, and bar/lounge. The staff was welcoming and nice. The location was also convenient, close to the freeway and near a Walmart, which made quick stops easy. Overall, a reliable and very pleasant place to stay in Austin.”

“Due to overbooking, we were given a much smaller room than we paid for. We needed two beds and were switched to a one bed so they wheeled in a tiny cot that was very uncomfortable and didn’t give us blankets or pillows for it. When we asked for some, they said they didn’t have any. Three times staff came into our room without knocking, once at midnight while we were already sleeping to bring a pillow. The light in the room didn’t work so there was only one dim lamp to see by. The shower didn’t...

“No ice machine, no light bulbs in room, no reusable cups, no coffee maker. Refrigerator worked well. No trash can. Booked 3 nights stayed 1. Beds were nice, room fairly clean. Get what you pay for. Good for people working in town and going home on weekends maybe. Will not stay there again. Booked for 3 nights and stayed one night.”

“For the price this place is good. The a/c was cold but loud. The building needs updating but the staff are very nice and the place is clean. It was easy enough to drive to but it isn’t anywhere near to downtown. The hotel feels safe. ”

“Not recommended,place was terrible no staff was available, no where to be found ,place smell bad , dirty people drinking in property tv , phone not working parking lot was dark homeless people walking all over the property. To top it off the hotel power went off completely while other areas had power . Ended up checking out and struggled to find another hotel.”
