“Ottima struttura, in un giardino rigoglioso e ben curato, in un paesino vicino a Santa Cruz ma lontano dal caos e dal turismo. In paese sono presenti bar, ristoranti e supermercati per qualunque necessità. L'accoglienza è stata ottima: nonostante l'arrivo alle 2 di notte a causa di un ritardo del volo, una persona ci ha aspettato e guidato fino alla Quinta.L'appartamento è dotato di ogni confort e molto ben arredato. Lo consiglierei caldamente a chi voglia andare a Madeira.”

“Ein wunderschön und modern eingerichtetes Haus in 167m Höhe über dem Meer in erster Reihe. Süd-/Ostlage. Große Terrasse, Pool, liebevoll eingerichteter Garten. Freundlicher und zuvorkommender Gastgeber, der uns zudem mit Tipps für Restaurants und Wanderungen versorgt hat. Echter Top-Tipp. Nur ein Hinweis: "nicht barrierefrei" da nur über Treppen (echt etwas sportlich) erreichbar. Für uns: jederzeit wieder!”

“Zwei tolle Wochen in diesem wunderbaren Ferienhaus. Es war alles, wie beschrieben. Auf Fragen hat Carlos schnell und hilfreich geantwortet. Die Zufahrt zum Haus ist schon nicht alltäglich aber gut zu schaffen, im Zweifelsfall sollte man einen Mietwagen mit Automatik wählen. Carlos hatte uns zur Begrüßung ein Zufahrtsvideo geschickt, coole Idee. Danke nocheinmal!”

“Das Objekt liegt etwas abgelegener über Funchal. Die Strasse dorthin ist sehr steil, ein Fahrzeug mit etwas mehr kraft ist von Vorteil, aber auch mit einem kleineren im ersten Gang machbar. :D der Garten ausserhalb des Objektes ist sehr schön und voller Natur. Auch kleine Hasen hoppeln herum. Innen ist das Objekt ein wenig Renovierung bedürftig und auf die Sauberkeit könnte man noch etwas mehr achten, aber an sich ist das Haus sehr schön. “Vraiment un endroit sublime ! De la vue, aux extérieur commun jusqu’au logement ; nous avons rien eu à redire. Petit plus, l’hôte est gentil, agréable, et de très bon conseils pour les activités à faire sur l’île. On ressent l’énergie positive qu’il met dans le logement et ses extérieurs. Admittedly driving on Madeira Island can be surprising because of the narrow roads and fast speeds the locals drive. I was a little nervous trying to find the location but once I understood how to open the gate to the property I was amazed by even the driveway. “We had a wonderful stay at Between the Sea and Mountains! The home was cozy with so much character. We enjoyed cooking on the BBQ outside in the little courtyard and in the kitchen, it had everything we needed. We loved ending our days on the balcony overlooking the ocean and mountain reflecting on the amazing day we had hiking. We would 100% recommend staying here!”

“Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt. Geräumiges Haus, sauber und tolle Aussicht auf das Meer. Leider nur ein Handtuch pro Badezimmer und ein Duschtuch pro Person. Wenig Tassen und Teller für 5 Personen. Sehr kleine Geschirrspülmaschine. Der beheizte Pool hatte leider nur 15 Grad. Seit Oktober 2024 wird auch eine Kurtaxe in Höhe von 2,- Euro pro Tag und Person erhoben. Maximal für 7 Tage. Das waren für uns 70,- Euro. Das wurde uns leider erst 3 Tage vor Ankunft mitgeteilt. "Partiamo dai punti positivi: Posizione strategica, direi la migliore in FUNCHAL. In pieno centro con locali ovunque. La struttura è bella e la camera era silenziosissima e confortevole. Il letto comodissimo. Punti negativi: frigobar con pochissima scelta, temperatura ambiente, per cui le bibite erano calde. Inoltre non lo rifornivano se consumavi. Biancheria del letto macchiata, asciugamani bucati e per 2 volte siamo rientrati alle 15.00 e la camera non era fatta. Per essere un 5 stelle il servizio è decisamente scadente. Peccato perchè la posizione merita."

"Bella struttura in una casa colonica portoghese. Sul mare con 2 piscine e accesso all'oceano. Buono il cibo servito a colazione e a cena con ricette tipiche portoghesi. Pulizia e staff cordiale e disponibile a soddisfare le esigenze del cliente. Posizione eccellente in centro città. Hotel da consigliare per un viaggio a Madeira ."
