“The reviews are all stellar for a reason--they are well earned. No complaints from anyone in the family. Great launch point to visit Shenandoah NP where we spent several days hiking. Only negative there is we didn't have a lot of time to enjoy the property. Would love to stay here again and spend more time on the porch, by the river, in town....Two things that might be helpful (somewhat covered in other reviews). The last bit of the walk to the river isn't obvious. The given directions are fine...

“This secluded farmhouse nestled in the valley below Shenandoah National Park was the perfect spot for a last minute getaway.Our dogs loved the expansive yard and we loved sitting on the back porch to take in the sights and sounds of the National Park.The house is 15 minutes from Luray in one direction and the Thornton Gap Entrance to the National Park in the other.The house itself is as stunning as it looks in the pictures and the hosts were very communicative. We hope to make it back soon!”
