Welcome to my modern second story space in downtown Madison. Business friendly, and Free access to co-working space a couple blocks away is included. 3 bedrooms with a beautiful kitchen and beer in the fridge. No need to Uber, you're just a few blocks from all the venues around the Capitol square, State St, and Kohl Center. Easy to get to the UW-Campus, Sylvee, Alliant Energy Center, and all the bars/restaurants in Madison.

Completely updated with modern kitchen and bathroom, exposed brick, and vaulted ceilings. This is the second level of a downtown 2 story house. Large common entry way, with a private door to the upstairs. *must be able to walk up stairs*

All 3 bedrooms are spacious and there is a washer/dryer in the space available for use. Bathroom is quite large including a tub & shower combo, towel warming rack, and wide vanity. Madison craft beer in the fridge!

Wonderful host, and a beautiful home within walking distance to many restaurants and museums. Parking nearby was easy to find. We were able to rest and relax, and make many meals there. Great kitchen amenities, and very comfortable beds. Truly a warm and inviting home. I would highly recommend!

The property itself was fantastic-clean and comfortable. The location was also very convenient in terms of access to downtown, the lake and so on. The neighborhood seemed to be a lot of college housing so there was some evening noise that quieted down by 10 or so.

Great spot

Short uber to everything. Really my only complaint is the parking situation is inconvenient. And Madison parking rules are a little odd. Some of our group got parking tickets. May be worth notifying future guests so they can prepare or follow the rules accordingly.

Thanksgiving in Madison

Had a wonderful first trip to Madison for the entire week of Thanksgiving. The house was absolutely perfect. Clean, cute, warm, perfect location to everything downtown. Also had better quality amenities than a lot of rentals; nice towels, comfortable beds and bedding and great furniture, fully stocked kitchen utensils and things. Felt perfectly at home.

Madison Fall 2-Night Stay

When I was enrolled at UW-Madison, I lived blocks from The Doty and would have loved to live at this adorable 3-bed home! It is well maintained and really did suit our location needs, near the Overture Center. Located in student rental neighborhood, I was worried it might be loud but we slept well. The beds were very comfortable. Plenty of pillows and blankets provided. We did not use the kitchen but it seemed well stocked. Had a wonderful breakfast at Marigold Kitchen. Two things I would note: I would suggest adding shutters on front living room windows so you didn't see the intersection lights. Then, make sure you stay on top of parking signs. Parking enforcement is definitely actively checking!

Great place for a group attending a meeting at the nearby conference center. Host was helpful and quick to respond to questions! Parking is not easy if you have a vehicle, but other than that it’s great.

Beautiful interior, great location, neighborhood was a mess

Our family stayed here in June. Inside the house was wonderful… There was plenty of space for our family of four and my kids enjoyed having their own rooms! The living room was very comfortable and the kitchen had plenty of space and supplies to cook meals and enjoy family time. The neighborhood is close to college life… The streets were lined with furniture and trash from students leaving on their summer break… Typical college experience I suppose, but not a great impression for first time visitors. I should have read the reviews about parking… We used a parking garage about 0.3 miles away which was OK, but would have been nice to have the car near the house. I would recommend including parking information on the property description so visitors can arrive prepared.

Great stay

Overall, we had a wonderful stay! The apartment is spacious, updated, and in a great location. Communication with the host was easy and appreciated! We had a few minor issues with stains on towels and very dusty fans, but they did not impact our stay and there were plenty of extra towels provided. Parking was a bit of a pain because we had to move our car during the day, but there are several lots about a 10 minute walk away. Our one suggestion would be to provide a second set of keys or a code entry. We were here on a business trip, and with multiple people coming in and out at different points of the day, the two key system for the front and apartment door was hard to manage. Two sets of keys would have made this a lot easier as one set could be taken upstairs while one is left at the front door. Overall, we would recommend this location to anyone. It was a great option, and with a few minor changes, would have been perfect!

Great location

Clean, spacious (3) bedrooms, and within walking distance to Capitol Square and State Street. Parking on the street was free, but time limited. Several parking ramps (for a fee) were within walking distance. Justine was a gracious host. We will most definitely return to this accommodation!

My family thought the property was perfect.

My many family members stayed at the property and gave only positive feedback. The large open living room/kitchen was perfect for all activities. They accessed many things by walking or driving at times. I worried that the daytime moving of parked cars on the street was an inconvenience, but three young men in the group didn't seem to mind. Parking ramps were easily available to others who visited.

Lovely stay at The Doty!

Great downtown 2nd story loft but extremely loud construction

Levi's home should be perfect - lovely kitchen, three spacious beds that are very comfortable. Perfect location right by the lake, Brittingham Park and State Street Unfortunately there is loud construction going on literally outside of 2 of 3 bedrooms. The construction starts at 630a every day. It also obscures the view from the balcony (which otherwise would offer a very quaint sitting spot facing the lake)

Perfect setup and location

Wonderful property

Great location to campus and lots of walking options. Parking is at a premium but as long as you’re going to be out and about during the day it was fine. We were able to get parking on the block at night with no issues. There is currently a lot if construction outside the house that starts at 7 am. The space is very nice! Clean, well decorated, spacious.

Good spot for a quick stop in Madison

The place was exactly as described. It was easy walking distance to state street and the capitol. There were cute welcome gifts and the place was spotless. Stylish furniture and a nice layout. The three bedrooms was perfect for us. The beds were comfortable. Parking was hard but we figured it out with a little plan. And as other reviewers said, there certainly was not enough hot water even when we divided showers for morning and night and tried to be quick. There is major construction going in behind the home. We are early risers so it didn’t affect us however that might be worth a note. I would recommend it if you are looking for a place to stay in Madison.
