“We loved our stay at Alila Diwa and would absolutely recommend it. We stayed outside of peak season which meant we were able to upgrade to Diwa club for a really reasonable price and I'd recommend doing the same, if you're able to; the rooms are spacious and bathrooms actually feel separate to the main bedroom/living area, plus you get access to the sundowners at Bistro. Our stay at Alila Diwa rounded off a 3 week trip around India and so we were ready for some sun lounger time, early nights...

“Beautiful resort in a stunning environment, a few meters from the beach. Staff is exquisite, we had an amazing staying. Excellent variety of food for breakfast, brunch and lunch; Miri restaurant doesn't offer the same wide choices for dinner, but maybe it was due to the fact that it was low season and there were not many guests. “Room was clean, housekeeping was readily available. Breakfast had a lot of options. My only nit pick is there isn’t a travel desk or hotel concierge and we were asked to speak with taxi drivers directly to plan any trips. The restaurant staff was overall nice, but some of them seemed a bit over-eager to please and when asked for vegan options, pointed us to food that wasn’t really vegan, without checking with the chef, or requesting clarification what vegan really means.
