“I stayed for a night with my partner recently and we were very happy with how kind and helpful the staff were, the cleanliness and comfort of the room, and the dinner we had at the adjoining pub! We would definitely stay here again 😊”

“The check in was quick and easy. The breakfast was really good. The room we had was on the front with a big window which was lovely but had to draw curtains for privacy in day. The only criticism was that there was a slight sewer type smell on arrival going up the stairs to the room and also in the morning in the bathroom but otherwise we had a lovely one night stay.”

“A pleasantly quirky place, and the staff were incredibly lovely and helpful. Rooms were fresh and spotlessly clean. No noise from inside the hotel, and little from outside. Bar was good value. The cooked breakfast wasn't great, and I didn't feel particularly good value, but the continental breakfast was very good value and very tasty and fresh. Would happily stay again!”

“We had a wonderful stay and the staff were incredibly accommodating. They were so helpful in arranging an early check-in for us and even found a room where we could get ready before attending a wedding, which made the whole day much less stressful. Everyone was friendly, professional, and went above and beyond to help. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and in a great location. We really appreciated the excellent service and would happily stay here again.”

“Decent hotel for one night, all we did was sleep here. Would have loved the shower to have a detachable shower head and also the fixed shower gel was nearly empty.”

“Lovely hotel. The staff were absolutely amazing. We stayed on the hottest day in May and no air-conditioning was an issue. The staff came around with ice buckets added fans to the room and did everything they could to help. My sister is disabled and their care was outstanding. Breakfast sat outside with a view of the golf course was fantastic. Would we stay again most definitely maybe not in summer until they have air conditioning though.”

“The staff were friendly. The room was very basic, which I don't mind as we got a cheap offer. The window was broken (had a butter knife to keep it open) and opened only to a maximum of 20 cm, and it was around the corner, so we were boiling inside (no air con). Would've been nice to have mattress protectors on the beds, as the sheets kept coming off, and there was a bare mattress underneath.”

“Bar and breakfast rooms were great..clean room..however we were given top floor room with four flights of stairs.. room too small for a double with very uneven floor.. Room was very hot window only opened six inches not much air coming in.fan provided was useless.. didn’t get much sleep as we were hot sticky and itratible..not going back.this was not in the heatwave.. the following weekend ..”
