This past weekend my husband and I were looking forward to a weekend away from our kids to enjoy one of our favorite places. Opting for a more pricey location compared to others we tried somewhere new, big mistake on our end. Arrived to find no shower curtain. Slight inconvenience, but no biggie. We called maint. and someone brought a bag of curtain hooks and curtains for us to install ourselves. Slightly annoyed, but fine we will install the curtain on our vacation and not let it ruin our trip. Curtain ends up being half the size it should be. Again, we shake it off. Fast forward to the evening when we return to our unit to see the AC never dropped below 74°. Despite being turned on for hours. We open a window and shake it off. Until 3 am when a storm hits and we have to close it. We make do and open it as soon as the rain stopped. With a storm hitting, the room thankfully cooled down, to a point where I was excited to use the fireplace. A big priority item for me when booking. Well, you guessed it. The fireplace was broken. I call maint. for both the AC and fireplace and they assure it will be resolved so we head off for the day. To return at 5 that night to neither fixed and no call/update. I call again, and do not get a call back until after we checked out the following day, only to say how they weren’t able to fix it, apologize for no communication, and need a vendor to go out for it. I email my concerns and get told it was all “user error”. Completely unacceptable!
