Standard 4 bedroom condo. Plenty good enough for six old fisherman. Older place, nice layout, kitchen a little small for six. Everything works as it should. Check in is a bit antiquated…..had to pick up and drop off keys and parking passes at an offsite location. Overall, just fine….

With 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, this is a great place for a group to stay in, and I would book this place again. The location is very convenient, and the check-in and check-out process was quick. The common area has lots of seating and there is a patio on the 2nd floor which overlooks the rest of the community. There were a lot of utensils and bowls / plates in good quality, and cooking was easy. The community jacuzzi was a very nice bonus.Things to note:1. It takes a few tries to unlock / lock the front door2. Some of the beds are too soft / springy3. Kitchen faucet handle is loose and the kitchen is pretty small4. The 2nd floor shower knob's water temperature doesn't match the labels, you have to turn the knob the opposite direction (H is on the left and C is on the right, but turning the knob to the right yields hot water). Also the hot water tends to run out if multiple people shower at the same time.

Wouldn't Stay Here Again

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The rental is very outdated. There is no washer and dryer. The dishwasher broke (but was fixed the next day). The couch is showing its stuffing. I wouldn't stay here again.

Dark and uninviting

This condo is very old and in need of some serious deep cleaning. At the very least the carpets should be cleaned and the throw rugs washed. We've come to Mammoth often and this is by far the worst condo that we have stayed at. The only thing it had that we needed was four bedrooms and three baths. Had to spray febreeze everywhere the smell was so bad.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The place was great. Good location. Only thing I would change is to add microwave. That's a basic appliance that should always be available. Besides that it was a great place to rent.

This is our best VRBO experience to date!

This is our best VRBO experience to date since we started renting vacation properties 12 years ago. And what a nice fireplace that actually heats up the home and has a beautiful vintage look.

The Geezer ski trip

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great, no problem, except for the rat. First day, after moving in, we saw a rat(we know the difference between a rat and a mouse) at the trash can, in the kitchen, we moved the trash, and it ran into the master bedroom. We set out a trap, didn't catch anything and didn't see or hear the rat again.I am not looking for a refund just advising the owners of the problem.

Just OK

A bit overpriced in my opinion. Quite outdated On the positive it had plenty of beds and a good location. Kitchen was small. No more than 2 people can fit at once.

Large and well equipped!

The condo was perfect for our large family; we were a group of 10. It was well equipped with everything we needed. Recommendations: Provide a surplus of trash bags, cleaning supplies, paper towels, towels in general for large groups. However, the overall experience was great!

Vacation in a Decent Unit in a Decent Location

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Chateau de Montagne #3 is nice 4 bedroom 3 bath condo conveniently located near shopping and the bus line. It's set up for a large group of friends (or a family with lots of kids) with modest furnishings and lots of beds. Quantity is the key word. It was clean and the kitchen was equipped with almost all of the tools and appliances you could want. It's a short walk to the hot tub which is an added bonus after a great day of mountain activity. I would not only recommend it, with the right group of friends, I would stay there again.

Also wish there are instructions on how to better operate the fireplace, which is the main vehicle for warming up the family room.
