The Space:
We are excited to welcome you to The Heim, a stylish 1-bedroom, 1-bathroom apartment located in the vibrant New Islington district of Manchester. The property features an industrial-chic design with exposed brick walls, wooden beams, steel pillars & soaring 15-foot ceilings, all set within Vulcan Mill - Europe's oldest working cotton mill. This apartment sleeps up to 4 guests.
Kitchen & dining area
The open kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to prepare meals during your stay. It includes a fridge-freezer, two ovens, a microwave, a ceramic cooktop, a dishwasher, a built-in wine cooler, a Nespresso machine, a hot water kettle, and a toaster. Complimentary supplies include Nespresso capsules, tea, coffee, sugar, milk sachets, oil, and salt & pepper. We also provide a cleaning kit containing washing-up liquid, a dishwasher tablet, a washing machine capsule, a sponge, a dish cloth, and 2 bin liners. A classic 1970s dining table seats 4, ideal for enjoying meals together or hosting a dinner party. This space also doubles as an excellent workspace for those travelling on business.
Bedroom
The bedroom features a super-king-size bed dressed in 100% Egyptian cotton linens, a large fitted wardrobe for ample storage, and a stylish dressing area with soft downlighting and a full-length 9-foot mirror.
Bathroom
The bathroom draws inspiration from a New York boutique-hotel aesthetic, featuring sleek black porcelain tiles and a walk-in rain shower. A spacious ceramic basin is paired with waterfall taps and stylish exposed lighting set against a wall-to-wall mirror. Fresh towels are provided, along with complimentary toiletries including shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and hand soap.
Living area
The open-plan living area is filled with natural light through large windows, complemented by beautiful solid oak floors and stunning views of the Manchester skyline, particularly at sunset. Settle into the leather 4-seater chaise longue sofa bed and enjoy your favourite shows on the 50" Smart TV with Netflix and Amazon TV access. The space has a dedicated workspace, making it equally suited to those travelling on business. Please note that as a city centre apartment building, there is potential for noise from outside and other inhabitants.
Sofa Bed
The sofa in the living area can be converted into a comfortable double sofa-bed for groups of 3-4 guests - please contact our customer service team in advance to arrange set-up, as additional charges may apply. Situated in New Islington - one of Manchester's most sought-after neighbourhoods - this apartment places you right at the heart of the city's energy. The New Islington Metrolink station is on your doorstep, giving you fast, easy access to Manchester's top attractions, shopping districts, and entertainment venues. Etihad Stadium is just a 10-minute walk away. A public car park is also available nearby for those arriving by car.

Guest Access:
Upon booking with us, you will receive access to your personalised Guest Pass. The Guest Pass is powered by Enso Connect – an Airbnb trusted partner. Here you will receive your check-in instructions, Wi-Fi details, local recommendations (& exclusive discounts!) and much more. You will receive a link to your Guest Pass in your booking confirmation message.
In order to protect both the property and you, our valued guest, you must complete either a mandatory deposit authorisation hold of £250 or a £30.00 non-refundable damage waiver (Please note that the Damage Waiver option is not available for bookings placed within 24 hours of check-in). This can be done on a card of your choosing via the Guest Pass. If you select the deposit authorisation hold, no monies are taken from your card unless damages are caused during your stay, or additional fees are incurred. This may be for things such as late check-out, undeclared guests, and/or extra nights. The deposit authorisation hold is usually released with 1 working day of check-out.
Kindly ensure that your Guest Pass verification and deposit authorisation hold are complete prior to your check-in, as you will not be able to access the apartments until this is complete.

Getting Around:
New Islington Metrolink is directly outside the front door providing instant access all over the city, including Manchester Piccadilly train station and the Etihad Stadium. There are beautiful walks down the canal which take you right into the epicentre in 10 minutes.
Other Things to Note:
Please note we do not manage the building and cannot be held responsible for any maintenance issues in building communal areas. If the elevator is out of order, you will be required to take the stairs up to the 3rd floor to access the apartment. We ask our guests to kindly respect our neighbours. We also encourage you to read our house rules for full transparency of our terms & conditions prior to booking - these can be found on our website. By booking your stay, you agree to abide to our terms & conditions.
Depending on the booked number of guests on your reservation, you may need to contact our customer service team who are on-hand to arrange a sofa bed set-up, where additional charges may apply. This home is pet friendly. If you wish to bring your furry friend(s), there will be a small flat rate fee of £20.00 which helps us cover the cost of the additional cleaning requirements post your stay.
