“Very nice old inn hotel. Nicely renovated and providing all modern facilties. Excellent restaurant, both dinner and breakfast were fantastic. Very friendly staff. On arrival the room for the three of us was not available due to a technical issue and they gave us two fourposter rooms. Short drive to the Jurassic Coast and also nice small village to take a short walk after dinner or in the morning.”

Bathroom door wasn't keen to stay shut. Room was clean. Great selection of teas, coffee and hot chocolate as well as biscuits. Quiet location over the night. Steak and ale pie great, veg pie you needed a spoon to eat the contents with. ”

“This cottage was perfect for a long weekend with my son and his dog. It is cosy, comfortable and has a lot of character. There was everything we needed for example the kitchen was well supplied with utensils, coffee pot etc, and the place was spotlessly clean.
