“Great location to explore different neighborhoods in Pittsburgh. You are a two minute drive from Shadyside, which has so many restaurants and bars and squirrel Hill. The staff here were very nice. Our hotel room had a huge window with a great view. It would be nice if they finish the bar restaurant so that it would feel more like a bar and restaurant but other than that, I have no complaints. The staff was very friendly. ”

“This might be the coolest place I have ever stayed. Rooms are small (used to be a hostel) but spotless as is the rest of the hotel. Great history behind this building. Very comfortable sitting in the great room conversing with others. The peacefulness was in large part due to this being a TV free hotel.”

The breakfast was a simple made-to-order choice and was better than expected. The coffee was excellent. Parking was easy. What more can I say. Top notch. ”
