Comfortable bed with a choice of pillows, additional chairs and space to work or nake snacks. Very helpful, friendly staff who try accommodate all requests and queries. Very ample food options for breakfast and veggie options on request for hot food. Flexible options if you need food to go too. Despite being near the dual carrage way it was quiet. “Dormire nella storia...in un hotel che è li da 500 anni ! Scelto quasi per caso dovendo spezzare tra il Galles e l'aereoporto di Stansed è stata una piacevolissima sorpresa. Situato proprio nel centro di una graziosissima cittadina la location è calda ed accogliente. Stanze curate accessoriate e pulite. Ha anche un pub/ristorante curato e dai prezzi accessibili. Se poi si preferisce uscire, attorno si trova di tutto in pochi metri. Un plauso anche alla colazione, ricca e variegata”

“This site was just greenspace on the edge of an industrial estate when I grew up here and it seemed a little weird pulling into an area where I had my first driving lessons on a Saturday morning as it was all but deserted over the weekend. Not now, there's a busy looking pub literally staggering distance away, the ubiquitous Greggs, few other structures the purpose of which didn't register. Very quiet, all I can hear is doves cooing. Staff friendly, nice to even have staff, last place I stayed...

“I am a disabled, and our room was on a first floor, I could have managed the stairs, but Barry on the front desk was so kind, caring and helpful person, he switched our room on the ground floor even without we asking.”
