Located on Marathon's quiet, Boot Key, you'll be within walking distance of popular Sombrero Beach and enjoy ocean views from home with direct canal access via a private dock. Other features include a private pool with pool spa and a patio furnished for outdoor living with a lounge area, dining table, and grill.

    The home's stilted design features a raised, single-level interior showcasing coastal island charm and deluxe modern comforts. The open layout welcomes group gatherings with blended kitchen, dining, and living areas. The island kitchen boasts gorgeous counters and chef's grade amenities including Monogram-brand stainless steel and a suite of utensils for gourmet meal inspiration. There's a lovely kitchen island with counter seating and adjacent dining area. In the evenings, unwind on the living room sofa while streaming shows and movies on the smart TV. Open up the slider door to the balcony to feel cooling coastal breezes. Home essentials include central air-conditioning, free WiFi, and a private washer and dryer.

    Prime Florida Keys living awaits downstairs. The breezy, shaded patio will be a favorite happy hour haunt and the sparkling pool offers a private oasis hidden among palms and mangroves, with an attached pool spa for soothing soaks. Fish directly from the canal and fillet your catch at the dedicated cleaning station on the dock. Fire up the gas grill for a fresh-caught seafood feast to enjoy with family and friends at the outdoor dining table. Overall very happy with our stay at the house and the location is fantastic. The house was very clean and the view is wonderful. A few items need some TLC in the house but mostly minor. We would recommend to anyone looking to enjoy the Keys!

The house was just as pictured-recently updated, clean, and spacious. Water views from the living area, kitchen, and master br were great. The proximity to sunset beach and all the restaurants, nightlife, and shopping was also a plus.

Great neighborhood

Very close to beach, pool a nice extra.Excellent neighborhood. Lots of beach toys and beach chairs.Modern kitchen and lots of refrigeration Great seafood near by.

Hidden gem near the beach

This home is the perfect vacation home. Close proximity to walk to beach and short drive to restaurants. We rent homes multiple times a year and this was one of the best homes we have stayed at that made each family member happy. Fishing, swimming and relaxing. Thank you for sharing your home!

Vacation get away

This house was perfect for two couples. It is in a great location. It is literally a 5 minute walk to Sombrero Beach. Less than a hour from Key West. The pool was great. Communication was great. We really enjoyed our week here and would stay again.

The house was clean in a great location on quiet street but close to everything. Plenty of parking for multiple cars. The kitchen is amazing equipped with almost everything except a pizza pan and cutter.A few things that could be improved are the primary bedroom mattress. It is a king size mattress but not comfortable at all, mattress is firm and you roll to center. Second, the “hot tub” by the pool is not a hot tub. It is the same temperature as the pool water. Last, upon arrival to the house the electronic key pad to open the door was not working. After multiple calls to the on call manager we were able to get access to a key to get in the house. We checked in on a Saturday and unfortunately no one fixed the key pad during our stay. All in all the house is great just needs a couple of tweaks.

This was our 2nd year renting this home. 1st time through Vacasa directly. The home is in a great location. Awesome fishing from the dock. Centrally located in Marathon. Great for two couples or a small family. We will be back!

Reviewed past reviews and 95% of issues had not been resolved. For the price, this rental was way overpriced and the rental company is doing a disservice to the owner and renters charging over 1150 in service fees. The master bed slumped in the center & water temp could not be reached without wasting gallons; cheap pool "fence", house & interior pool needs pressure washed, flower beds need attention, broken kayaks need replaced, outdoor tv needs to be installed, front door needs completely replaced due to keypad not working & doggie dog stuffed with styrofoam & ducktaped. House it advertised as boat friendly with dock so thank goodness we left ours home because it would not accommodate one. This was our 10th trip to the keys with the worst rental yet! So disappointing! The highlight of this house was the kitchen.

2022 Keys vacation

This was our first visit to the Keys we were not disappointed. We came to fish and enjoy the beautiful weather, both were beyond our expectations!! Definitely will be coming back. The house we rented was perfect, the location was on point. Every morning we were able to fish right from our own private dock. Swim in the afternoons in the private pool, there was a grocery store just a few minutes from the house. Can’t wait to come back!!

Hidden Gem

Perfect house for our family of four. Situated on a canal and backyard patio and pool feels private and isolated. We used the 2 kayaks everyday. Beautiful views of ocean and sunset. Five minute walk to Sombrero beach. No TV on patio like in picture and the master king mattress extremely uncomfortable (queen in spare room softer). First time to the Keys and we will be back!

Loved the house. Location was wonderful. Perfect for sombrero beach access by bike or by foot. Pool and spa were so nice and I appreciated having control of the heat especially as the week fluctuated quite a bit. The pool is fantastic as it gets over 5 foot deep and the spa is wonderful. A couple notes for the owner 1. Label the light switches. Guests always appreciate that. 2. Leave a guest book out where we all log in fun finds and activities. The next guest benefits and the owner only spent the cash for the book. 3. Instruction book that gets updated for days of trash and recycle and pool instructions. I noticed the website was not up to date on the days for trash and recycle. This only benefits the owner. Plus I noticed people leaving pool issue reviews. I’d bet they just couldn’t figure it out. Anyhow, we loved it. 4. Put a tv back outside. You have the bracket and TVs are cheap. Thanks for sharing your home and also for bringing me a new shower curtain when the spring broke in the first one!!

Beautiful

beautiful house..very clean. Loved watching the manatees in the channel. The pool and spa was wonderful. The only reason for not giving it a full 5, is because of the tidal sand bar at the entrance of the channel. At low tide, you can not get a boat with a 10" draft, into it. My husband's, boat got stuck and he had to leave it,until the tide started to come, back in. I would rent this house again . loved it.

Brought Our Boat Review

This was a great location for our 18’ boat. It would not work for boats with a deep hull as it’s very shallow. We got stuck during low tide trying to get out fishing. Depth was 1’ during low tide. The house was good overall. I wish there was an option for heating the pool. We had a cold front move in and it was to cold to use the pool. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful property

Just wasn’t happy with my husband fishing off the dock and light from the neighbors dock pointed right into you face. The king side bed was bad. The queen bed was good, but the vent over head was horrible to sleep with directly in your face. Otherwise the kitchen was amazing well stocked. Great outdoor space. When we had problems they took care of it right away.

Pirate's Booty

This is a beautiful vacation home in a great location at the end of a canal, a short drive from Sombrero Beach. You can see the beach from the kitchen windows, and I'll add that this is my favorite beach in all of the Keys! The kitchen was large and updated with great appliances and an enormous granite island. It came stocked with enough trash bags, toilet tissue, paper towels, bath products, and dish detergent to last us the whole week. The floor of the patio area is peeling and takes away from the beauty of it, but did nice nice outdoor furniture. The canal was deep enough for us to dock a boat there with no problems. Definitely would recommend staying here!

Great Space and Location

We loved the house and being in the middle keys. It made day trips to other keys easy. Housekeeping did show up a few minutes before 10am (check out). They sat in the car in the driveway and stared at us while we packed the car. It was incredibly awkward. I don’t count this against the owner or how great the stay was, but I do think it is something to bring up to the company coming to clean the houses.

Locked out no telephone answer, no replay, picked lock, day three battery lock did not work, no answer we leave for the day house not locked, this is not right ,been with verbo for 10 years or more, not any more

Not For a Fishing Trip

The inside of the house is well done except there are not accommodations for 6 there are only 2 beds. Thankfully My family had a house down the street so my daughter had a place to stay. Good location to get out if boat has a very shallow draft, low tide is about 10" at the turn of the canal. High tide is about 3ft. There is NO Bait Freezer. The only Ice Maker was in the fridge and didn't make enough for a small cooler for a beach day. The water pressure in the house is low. The Dishes are chipped, the faucet in the kitchen doesn't work well. The pool needs some work as around the water fall the tile is coming off. The spa intake does not have a cover on it so be careful with little ones.
