  • Located on the banks of Sister Creek, this waterfront home is a coastal jewel! Book a snorkeling excursion to Sombrero Reef or hit the links at Florida Keys Country Club. Explore a variety of local dining options off Overseas Highway.

    Sip a crisp beverage as you take in views of Boot Key from the shaded cabana. Grill your local catch and dine alfresco on the screened wraparound porch which has generous seating for guests. You'll love the private, protected boat slip and the panoramic water views any time of day. The living room features vaulted ceilings, a TV, and sweeping views of the water. Prepare delicious meals in the kitchen, outfitted with a full suite of modern appliances. The dining table offers seating for everyone and the kitchen island offers even more. The primary bedroom has a TV, a desk, and an en-suite bathroom with a double vanity and a walk-in shower. The second bedroom includes a TV and an en-suite bathroom is equipped with a walk-in shower. The screened and covered wraparound porch includes a large dining table and plenty of seating. The waterfront yard has a cabana with loungers, a variety of seating, an outdoor shower, two gas grills, and a handy fish-cleaning station.

    Added perks include free WiFi, a TV, and a washer/dryer. Beach toys, chairs, and games are provided too! An additional fridge, freezer, and ice machine are provided on the ground floor.

Excellent!

We had an excellent Stay at the Jewel of Marathon. We rented a boat for our stay and was able to park it at this home. The location of this home was fantastic. Close to everything we wanted both on land and by by boat.

Great location for boating, kayaking, biking, beaching. House and property are designed very well to take advantage of the water and views. Vacasa was very helpful when we had a couple of minor issues.

THE HOUSE WAS VERY NICE. CLEAN AND GREAT LOCATION. DOCK COULD USE SOME WORK AS FAR AS RUBBER BUMPERS TO KEEP BOATS PROTECTED AND AC GETS WARM IN AFTERNOON/EVENINGS.

Awesome Stay

Loved the bay, great fishing. Caught some grouper out back. Overall the house itself was beautiful. Would definitely stay again. Only slight downside was no fishing poles or kayak paddle but not a big deal at all.

An Excellent Stay!

We had an excellent stay at the Jewel of Marathon! Definitely a jewel, excellent location just a few minute walk to Sombrero Beach, close to tons of great restaurants and the 7 mile bridge! The layout of the house was fantastic for 2 couples or a family with a great screened porch, outdoor area with a great view and manatees in the mangroves. The kitchen was well stocked and great to have beach chairs to use too. We had a fantastic time and hope to return to this jewel! Thank you!!!

Can We Visit Again???

We were absolutely thrilled with this property. My husband loved that he could put his rental boat in the slip. I loved the outdoor, enclosed porch with a stunning sunset view. The walk to one of Florida's premier beaches is so quick and direct. From the yard we saw manatees, fish and even an eel. The only downside is that the location is not easily swimmable and there isn't a pool but with the beach so close, it was not a problem.
