“Isolated location but convenient for hiking, fishing, etc. Cottages are well constructed and comfortable. Try to get one a bit away from the restaurant. Good choice for younger travelers looking to enjoy the outdoors; not so much for older people with any mobility issues.”

“Nice staff. But the room was in terrible shape, bad lumpy beds, ants, and in desperate need of maintenance. Parking lot is not striped correctly. The main building is apparently being renovated so no way of even finding the hotel with the actual address. Breakfast choices were terrible. Not worth the $100+ per night!”

“I don’t usually leave review but this was the worst stay I’ve ever experience. The check in instruction is horrible. It doesn’t say where we should check in and the front desk doesn’t pick up the phone when I called. It just give me the time and hour of operation and phone number. When we got there we went drive around looking to check In. During that time we went through the gated entrance which we though its part of the resort but turn out it wasn’t. It cost us $12 just to make a u-turn. Do...

“Room was clean and reasonably priced. Market and a couple of restaurants within walking distance. Took awhile to get the TV working right. There is no onsite staff, you are sent an access code beforehand to get into your room. We booked via Expedia (who likes to send messages) so I missed the message with the access code and was panicking a bit before another lodger told us what to look for. Good place for an overnight stay.”

“Beautiful room right on the river. Slept with the window open and enjoyed the sounds of the river. Basic room - Very clean, modern room. Will definitely return, especially in the winter when it snows. If you come in the summer, bring an inner tube to cruise down the lake. Highly recommend for a basic, inexpensive alternative to South Lake, which is only 30 min away.”

“Not really much to say other than this should be a last resort stay. Stain on the sheets, no soap or any body wash / shampoo. Our room looked like it had been cleaned with minimal effort which is kinda crazy since there were 2 cars in the parking lot…. Respectfully I would avoid this place.”
