Everything was really good, and my wife and I had a great time. The only thing that detracted from our stay was seeing exotic birds kept in cages. They appeared unhappy, and it felt unnecessary and inhumane.
I think our experience would have been even better if the birds had been released to an appropriate sanctuary or donated to an organization that could provide them with a more natural environment. Keeping captive birds did not add any positive value to our stay, in fact, it had the opposite effect.
