“Room and bathroom newley renovated with lovely linens and fluffy towels provided. It had an ensuite, tea/coffee and kettle, a small fridge, TV, Wi-Fi, table and wardrobe. If you are a light sleeper you might struggle as there was a noise that went off frequently during the night (perhaps related to pub refridgeration or building heating?). Also the roman blinds needed to be put down in the bathroom to use the toilet due to it overlooking the parking space. Otherwise lovely stay and good value...

“Really great, absolutely spotless room. Lovely shower. As some of the other reviews suggest, it could do with some hooks for coats and bath towels, and maybe a shelf for toiletries in the shower. ”

“A last minute event meant the we needed somewhere to stay so we decided to treat ourselves to Dinner Bed & Breakfast at the White Lion. It was a bit busy when we arrived but the staff were welcoming though we only go directions to our room as the lad needed to get back to the bar. The room was lovely, generally well appointed. “Property looks dated and in need of a modern upgrade. The hotel t is clean anc the staff was exceptionally good and helpful The location is great - near the Train Station and good restaurants. The breakfast was good and plentiful.”

“We got upgraded to a studio apartment as needed a ground floor for disability. Bar man was very helpful and showed us the key codes etc. very appreciative for upgrading. Thank you Wolf Inn for a great night stay . ”

“This is our second visit to the hotel. Last year we stayed in the 2 bedroom cottage. This time, we stayed in the 3 bedroom cottage, it was stunning, especially the modern bathroom with lovely quality toiletries. Both the breakfast & dinner were delicious. We enjoyed being able to choose a cooked breakfast from their varied selection. Would highly recommend. ”

“The room was very clean and tidy. On the booking it didn't say there breakfast, but when I got into the room there was a lovely breakfast bag. The car park was small but was adequate. I would recommend it to anyone who would like to stay there. Also the staff were very helpful ”

“Stayed over Easter. Staff are brilliant, very helpful and attentive and friendly. Menu for breakfast and dinner was lovely and great value for money. The rooms are simply decorated, clean maybe slightly small but appreciate it is a very old building. The bed was very comfortable and room was nice and warm too.
