“We were sent to a room that was already occupied !! Only upon entering we encountered a man coming out the shower as surprised as we were It took another 45 minutes to sort a room and at no time did anyone say sorry!”

“No air conditioning, staff wasn’t knowledgeable about local restaurants, 10 lb charge for early check in, another person that was staying there ate dinner at about 5:00 pm and he left his silverware and a mess on the table and no staff person cleaned it up till the following morning. I wouldn’t stay there again”

“When you stay at the Maids Hotel, the one thing that is fixed in your mind is “stairs” unless you can cope with stairs at every turn, this is not the hotel for you. This is because the hotel is a heritage building and it doesn’t lend itself to easy step free access. “We stayed for a short weekend in Norfolk, decided on this stunning hotel. Was welcomed nicely in by the reception desk staff, room was spacious, clean and had everything we needed. Woke up to a lovely breakfast buffet both mornings. The golf course was impressive to see, even though we don’t play it ourselves.
