“When I initially checked into the hotel The first room I walked into smelled like smoke with the air conditioner on. I went to the lobby and exchanged my keys for a different room. The new room was a little better regarding the smell of smoke but the bed and bedding was awful. I pulled back the terribly worn comforter and sheets and it was like there was no mattress pad and it felt like there was just a sheet laying on top of the mattress.
