“Not wanting a stuffy hotel we opted for an apartment type rental. Full kitchen, living room, bedroom and bathroom. Having a couch to feel at home to watch TV made our stay homey. Absolutely loved the decor with a theme throughout the place. I love the charm of the old homes and this one didn’t disappoint. If I get back to Staunton I will definitely stay here! ”

The woman (assuming she is the owner) made sure we got in okay and shared with us where to dine. We will be traveling by there frequently and plan on making this one of our usual stops. “While the property is lovely and the stay has been nice, I will say that the information provided before finalizing the booking was missing pertinent information.
There was no mention of the two sets of stairs at the front entrance. There was no mention of receiving a code for entry to property until after I booked a non-refundable booking. I had sent a query to the property but did not receive an answer before booking later the same day (the day of arrival).

“The hotel is beautiful in a large estate-like property so it is very grand. The area is quiet but close to the town. You can walk to town (about 12 minute walk). The room was small (we got the classic room) but comfortable since we didn't spent much time there as we were in town most of the day. I would stay there again. It has great history.”

“The loft apartment was super cool, and we loved all the extra effort the host made to make it a fun place to visit. Everything inside worked perfectly, including the sauna and the record player. We visited from Liverpool, England, and it was so fun to put on the Beatles on vinyl!
