“We have stayed at quite a few motels during our Canadian/US roadtrip and this motel is right up there as one of our favourites. The rooms were clean and tidy, after a long days drive we were happy to order a freshly made pizza with some cool drinks and sit on the patio and enjoy the view over the river. A really special little gem.”

“Motel vecchio stile ma ben tenuto. Grande stazione di rifornimento per camion dall'altra parte della strada, ma camera silenziosa grazie ai doppi vetri. Letto comodissimo. Ottimo ristorante a Rufus (5 ml) piu' ad est, vecchio stile americano. Il venerdì hanno la Prime rib veramente da non perdere. Bob's Texas T-Bone and Frosty's Lounge.”

“Fit the purpose”

“The staff had the personality of plain instant oatmeal mixed with water. But they were present and got me checked in quickly. If you have hair that is thicker than a bald man, be prepared for it to take FOREVER to rinse shampoo and conditioner out. But there was plenty of hot water to do so in the trickle that came out. AC worked beautifully so my room was able to be set at morgue cold in the ridiculously hot outside weather. And the pool looked clean and fabulous!”

“It had a really nice view of the river from outside the room, the room was really clean and pleasant to sleep in. finally, it was next to a couple of fast food places and gas station, so it made our life easier.”

“Caveat: this is a traveller's rest-type motel. Zero frills, just a comfortable secure room with a comfortable bed and working shower. No monogrammed 1000 thread count sheets, no turn down service, just evidence of pride of ownership and recent renovation. I will absolutely stay here again. The "town" is a truck stop, but this is a great place to catch up on sleep. ”
