“we arrived late, the staff member was lovely and helpful. Parking was great and highly visable. unit was clean and tidy. but cold. maybe staff should ensure heaters are on low for arriving guests. needs another towel rail in bathroom, or small ring rail for hand towels.”

“Our studio room was clean and comfortable. The lodge is easily accessible to both airport and city while being close to the lovely Groynes Park. Staff are very helpful and friendly. We would certainly stay again when in Christchurch. ”

“The rooms while small are new, clean and tidy and we’ll looked after the issue is the noise, mostly from other long term guests who have apparently settled there, arguments, drunken fight, swearing all night all through the night, it ended with someone trying to kill themselves, 3 police cars and ambulance at 5 am I would never set foot there again if you paid me to be there, and that was the advice from police officers when I was eventually allowed to escape through the cordon ”

“Check in staff member was very friendly and helpful. Room was very clean, bed was comfortable. Close to shops and a few cafes etc. If you struggle with stairs or have heavy luggage I would suggest booking a ground floor room as there is no lift”

“Looks small from outside but really comfy inside. A big positive was a small fan for the hot afternoons, a mini fridge, a kitchenette. The only callout is hot showers are $2.”

“Very spacious 2 br apartment with beautiful lake views and golf course views , very peaceful and quiet location, easy check in and good communication with host. The apartment were brand new and sun drenched with views of the lake from every room. Would definitely recommend staying here ”

“Everything about this accomodation is the best, great facilities, great staff and there's always tons of free food items so you don't have to worry about salt or cooking oils, or coffee even. Big thanks to a staff member, the tall gentleman wearing the cap, outstanding service and a warm welcoming presence, as well as going above and beyond to help me with the locker code and laundry facilities. Definitely a staff member that makes lylo Christchurch an accomodation i and others will recommend...
