“Breakfast needed refreshing. Main issue: our room’s toilet was unusually low and most older people would have a problem, especially because no security bar available for assistance to get up. This is a problem. And an additional bar in the shower would be appreciated. ”

“First, there were two ladies at the front desk, one with red hair and she was fabulous. The other one was very rude to me and my husband. It was extraordinarily loud throughout the entire night not to mention our air conditioner, wasn’t working properly and kept making a clunking sound every 20 minutes and I was told there’s nothing they can do about it and they could not move me I am a traveling nurse and I stay about once a month here and I have never experienced anything like this before very...

“Wound not recommended the restaurant within the hotel. We went there for breakfast. Portions are small for price. No jelly with toast and one waitress serving the whole restaurant. This is the only downfall of our experience. Room was adequate. Everything seemed to clean. Staff was helpful.”

“Gentleman that checked us on was very nice and outgoing. Room was comfortable and quiet. The courtyard in the back was a nice amenity as it was a warm spring evening out and we were able to have pizza and a beer out there while letting our new puppy explore the great outdoors.”

“Parking was great. Breakfast was very good. Staff allowed a party to keep guests awake after midnight. When asked for a room transfer they were very helpful and immediately provided with a different room away from the noise and rowdy guests. Staff did ask rowdy guests to be quiet several times. However when rowdy guest continued to be rowdy they did nothing other than provide us with a different room.”

“Easy check in/out. Great location. Hotel and room were clean but our room had a “funky” smell. Only one of the elevators worked.”

“I would love to stay here while I'm working in Kalamazoo, but I just because of the cigarette smell in the room. It was 100% smoke free.... I just got home and I have to wash all of my clothes. Even the clean ones. My family could smell the cigarette smoke through my suitcase when it was sitting in the kitchen. Staff was nice though.”

“Absolutely beautiful Victorian bed and breakfast. Everything is excellently decorated. Plenty of of stuff to do in the area as well. The breakfast was phenomenal. Will definitely plan another trip there! Clean super soft bed slept like a baby. ❤️ THE VANWINKLE’S”
