Hotel a Maunganamu

“Every time we travel to Taupo we stay at Mototere holiday park. It is clean, well maintained and friendly staff. Trout fishing over the road is good. Trucks passing on main road through the night we thought would be a problem, after our first stay it didn't become an issue at all. Only 15 minutes travel from Taupo it is a excellent place to rest up and relax. Thank you Mototere holiday park, we will be back”

“Affacciato sul lago a qualche minuto di auto da Taupo, il motel è anche carino ma ha bisogno di una bella rimodernata e la camera di una bella pulizia approfondita. Stanza comunque spaziosa e completa di vasca da bagno termale (non particolarmente invitante) e terrazzino con tavolo e sdraio (continguo alle altre camere). Una rinfrescata lo renderebbe perfetto, ha anche area barbecue e piscina comune esterna.”

Breakfast was excellent. Liz and Steve were very welcoming hosts and we would not hesitate to recommend Belle Vue. We shall certainly stay here again if we come back to Taupo.”

“This hotel is very tired. Check in was 3pm, yet many of the rooms were not ready until after 4pm. Other customers (Mainly overseas tourists) were given a drink voucher because their room wasn't ready, but we weren't or neither was another Kiwi guest. We eventually asked for one about 1/2 hour later & were given one. The bar area where people were waiting for their rooms wasn't big enough to accommodate everyone. “You can only turn into the driveway from one direction so it meant we had to u-turn to get in. There is no lifts so needed to use stairs with suitcases. Staff was lovely and friendly, and the view was gorgeous!”

“The bedroom was very tired, chipped walls, a large chunk out of the plaster on the corner. Seemed to be dirt and dust under the glass on the desk. Dirty/dust where the carper meets the mini bar cupboard. Great underground carp park for a fee but worth it to charge my EV.”
