“What a beautiful bed and breakfast. We only stayed overnight but we rested comfortably and really enjoyed the hospitality of our hosts. Spotless, fresh breakfast, beautiful garden and birds, Tastefully decorated. Highly recommend. ”

“Beautiful and comfortable accommodation, property and staff were excellent, customer service was top notch. The booking site was disappointing though, as they didn’t send the pin to the lock box for the key ahead of arrival - if you book via this platform, please ensure they send you the virtual check in at least the day before your arrival, else book direct. We had to dial the emergency number and fortunately the staff came to our rescue very quickly. Kudos and thank you to the vicarage team!”

“We were lucky enough to book this place last minute and so glad we did - it was amazing. Friendly hosts who provided a wonderful welcome basket of milk, juice, yoghurt, biscuits, crisps granola and bread which was a really thoughtful touch. The term “Resort” is a little misleading however as for hotel accommodation, it is good. While a little dated, the Methven Resort has all that is needed for a comfortable stay. “Unit was clean but very dated and needs a complete overhaul. Staff were sick so never saw anyone. A instruction manual for the television would be a help as I could not get it to work and there was a program I specifically wanted to see. Other clients also could not get there tv to go. Heater was very efficient and shower was good but don’t turn tap on in kitchen while someone is in the shower. ”
