I Pini a Mayhill

La nostra cabina è una fuga tranquilla, in un piccolo quartiere dietro il famoso Mayhill Cafe sulla Hwy 82. Una camera da letto con un divano letto extra e futon nel soggiorno. Abbiamo un ponte coperto di grandi dimensioni, offre una vista piacevole e uno spazio di vita all'aperto per pranzi all'aperto e barbecue. Mayhill è una fuga fredda dal caldo estivo lungo la montagna. Offriamo un ottimo posto per fuggire da tutto. Rilassati, goditi la fauna selvatica, guarda le stelle di notte. Siamo un paradiso per gli astronomi. Siamo lontani da tutte le luci della città, le stelle sembrano poterle toccare e toccare. Rilassarsi sulle amache, cenare nel patio, staccare la spina e rilassarsi. Siamo a 17 miglia da Cloudcroft ea circa un'ora da Artesia, un po 'più lontano da Carlsbad e Roswell. Per raggiungere la nostra cabina, prendi l'82 direzione est da Cloudcroft, entra a Mayhill, supera il Mayhill Cafe, svolta a destra su South Pine, seguila intorno alla curva, supera Cedar, supera il vicolo sulla tua destra, gira a destra su Juniper, la strada si divide, prendi il lato destro della forcella, siamo la terza casa sulla destra su Juniper. Girare a destra nel vialetto. Parcheggiare nel vialetto o nell'area di parcheggio sotto il ponte. Esci dalla proprietà in fondo al lotto, attraverso il vicolo. Questa è una zona di caccia principale per Elk, Cervo, Turchia.

We loved how quiet and peaceful this property is! It was so pleasant. The pullout sofa & futon were more comfortable than expected. And the cabin is such a nice size. When staying here, if you have the opportunity, stop into the Mayhill Cafe. Overall, if we were back in the area, we'd definitely stay here again.

This was our 2nd Annual Fourth of July stay at The Pines. It's absolutely perfect for us. Has everything we need! The large front porch is just the best!...for meals, games, and coffee in the morning. Mike was great and very helpful. Can't wait until next year!!

We were here to hunt, and we had a wonderful time up and down the mountains chasing turkeys; a couple of the turkeys even came back to stay with us. It was nice to come back to a place that met all our needs. We like people and met some neighbors. Nice folks in the area; I felt like we were at home. If you are looking for a place to stay for hunting, trail running, hiking, etc., I recommend this property.

We couldn’t have asked for a better place to be. The cabin was exactly what we needed. We loved sitting on the covered porch watching the wildlife and enjoying the peace & quiet. The cabin has everything you need. We’ll definitely be coming back!! Thank you for being so accommodating!!

I did not stay at the cabin due to having a hard time finding it and when I did find it the area did not appear safe. I took my daughter's back to it and took the wrong road, we were on the next road close to the cabin and a man come out telling us we best get out of there. I was staying alone so I just did not feel safe staying there. The area around it was very junkie and not pretty what so ever at least it wasn't to us. I lost my money but I would have been very nervous staying there alone. I had no service so I couldn't get to the code to even go in and look at the cabin. The cabin itself did appear clean.

I wish property had TV . Better internet. The place needs a new bed in bedroom very uncomfortable. The inside was clean . The kitchen had enough cookware and dinnerware very appreciative of that. I didn’t try the fold outs in the living room but I thought they looked good and were comfortable setting on them. The decor was nice hunting atmosphere. The deck was great enjoyed it over a beer and cocktail in the evenings. Overall a good stay .

The little house is in a run down neighborhood. The bed, sleeper sofa and futon are old & hard to sleep on. The house & towels smelled dirty. I had to reclean the floors because they had been cleaned with a dirty mop & w were sticky. Only 1 partial roll of TP for a week's stay. All the cabinets & doorknobs were sticky from not being cleaned. The host is very nice and accessible. I had to cancel the 1st time we booked and received a full refund. Unfortunately, we can't recommend the house.

The cabin was nice, bed was comfortable, and owner was very helpful. There were wonderful porch swinging chairs. We enjoyed sitting on the porch reading and watching deer.

A great quiet place to relax. Me, my dad and a close friend of mine rented this cabin to stay in while Turkey hunting. Priceless memories made. Lord willing, We will definitely be back!

I was looking for some peace and quiet away from home and pandemic life. I found it at this property in Mayhill. The property was clean and plenty of space for just me. There was WiFi and a TV with Netflix, but I mostly enjoyed having coffee and reading on the deck. I arrived in the middle of a horrible wind storm that had knocked the power out, but Mike was available when I called and he reached out to the power company immediately, and they were able to restore power within an hour or so. I would definitely stay again.

Nice piece of property. A little remote for some things. After corvid-19 hit they closed state parks and lakes where we did a lot of fishing. We ended our trip about 11 days early because of lack of things to do plus driving so far to find places to eat.
