Birthday vacation

Even though it rained we checked in after we went the wrong way called the owner he picked right up an gave me great directions the house was just what we wanted nice big rooms nice deck outside to sit very peaceful an quiet good parking although you might want to back in the parking lot it’s on a small slop my fiance loved it an if she gave it a 9.5 out of 10 then to this place it’s about 5 minutes to the outdoor pools,golf course,go carts an bumper cars it’s about 10 mins to the waterpark so great location we will definitely come back in the near future.

The host is amazing

The property was exactly as advertised! Great place for my dog. It was clean and inviting, the host was welcoming and checked on us throughout the stay. They offered great restaurant suggestions and went above and beyond when I left and important item at the property! Highly recommend!

Nice weekend getaway close to the slopes

Overall, the house was the perfect size for our group. An older house but met all of our needs. Quick drive to the slopes and if the weather was good we could have even walked if we wanted too. Communication before check in and during our stay was quick. Would stay here again. Only negative was one of the tvs in the bedrooms would not cut on and one bedroom tv was missing batteries. But not a deal breaker as we only used them at night anyway.

Family FB weekend

House was fine however does need some work on the deck and instructions for use of the tv, never could get it to work in the living room. Also the ac/heat was a challenge to operate since it got cold and was hard to operate for heat. Some of the lamps were not working either. The driveway parking is very much a challenge as well

Affordable and welcoming

This was a great place for our extended family group to stay during a wedding weekend. Most listings in our budget had too many rooms with multiple beds to allow for privacy. As others have noted, it is not a brand new house but it was clean and had everything we needed. The hosts did an excellent job of replying to questions and sending the check in information.

Wonderful Ski Getaway

We traveled with 12 of our family members and had ample room for everyone! The home was clean and spacious for our family! All of our kids and grandchildren had a great time! We really enjoyed being close to the slopes and the great views! We look forward to returning in the future!

Great Deal for a simple getaway!

We had a wonderful Labor Day weekend at the house. House was exactly as described in reviews and by owner. House is older, but very clean. Beds comfy, but towels could use an upgrade. Kitchen had bare minimum, but again, I was prepared for this and we didn’t need much! (no wine glasses, but we made it work!) Close to everything- even walked to the restaurant through the woods! Host was responsive and everything in working order! A great trip and excellent for the price tag!

Multi-family weeklong vacation

The house was clean, easily accessible, and had a great view of the surrounding mountains while being close to the Massanutten resort and amenities. The hosts thoughtfully left recommendations and tips for the area, and were kind and responsive in the time leading up to our stay, during the stay, and as we checked out.

Great location any time of year

We had a wonderful stay in this house at the Massanutten resort. It's a great layout with beautiful surroundings. We visited Luray Caverns and Shenandoah National Park. There are tasty restaurants and a full grocery store within 10-15 minute drive. On property, we enjoyed the pool, go-carts, and bumper cars. We missed the arboretum, golf, and the spa, but that just gives a reason to return. One recommendation - Linens are included but bring kitchen, bath and pool towels. The largest bath towel in the house was the size I usually use for my hair. No big deal but bring these items if you like to have them. A great house, responsive owners, and family-fun location!
