“Lucked into this after catching Jamey Johnson at Renfro Valley. Typically spend twice as much to spend a night but certainly won’t be doing that when in this area again. Clean room, comfortable bed, quiet night, and hot shower in the morning. Checks all the boxes. You can book w/o hesitation.”

“There were spiders in the bathroom Also I got charged $10 because was a stain on a towel Will not go back there next time in the area”

“I absolutely loved this historic hotel. It is beautifully remodeled, maintaining the integrity of the original architecture. Beautiful and comfy rooms. I loved the restaurant and bar. Trails nearby. Helpful staff. Will return.”

“Room was poorly maintained. Price was ridiculous for the quality. Tub and shower were in bad shape. Breakfast was poor and coffee was terrible. We used the stairs a couple times and there were spider webs all over. Not maintained at all. The pullout had no linens. Had to request those. Only towels for 2 people. Reserves for 3. Staff were friendly but overall will not return.”

“The Microtel was a nice side of the road overnight option for our family of 4. Price was a bit on the high side however it was a Saturday night. Breakfast was quite good, the standard fare. Pool was nice but area needs significant care & maintenance. Some renovations are taking place & dust is evident. Staff was great. Welcome gift was a nice touch. A good cleaning & update is needed.”

“First thing, I got room # mixed up, mine was 209, I turned around and opened room 206, people were pissed and I don't blame them. But my 209 fob opened room 206. Enough said.”

“What a wonderful experience! Amy was the best host ever. The setting is stunning with the rolling KY hills and Highland Cattle grazing around the cabin. It is a small rustic cabin, but so enjoyable! ”

“Absolutely perfect place for a gorge getaway! Check-in could not have been easier and the owner was super friendly and gave us all the information we could need in advance so when we got there it was as simple as putting in the key code and unpacking our stuff. The cabin is small but doesn't feel cramped and it's so charming and cute plus the outdoor areas are well-maintained and extremely peaceful. My wife is already trying to plan our return trip!”

“Great location, great price point! I didn't know what to expect never having travelled to this area. This Motel was a little known gem. Clean, comfortable room, with good AC, a comfy bed and a hot shower. Also a great location. we grabbed a pizza at a local joint and the room had a table to enjoy it. Highly recommend this property.”
