This fabulous property has a triple car garage, a full three-bedroom loft apartment, and spectacular finishes. With over 9 acres of property to explore, there`s something for everyone. You can watch the sunrise with your morning coffee on the balcony or head to woods find a tree house, apple trees, and trails through the forested land.
You’re a 5-minute drive to fantastic eateries and local shopping in Meaford for anything you need.
The newly renovated 3 bedroom garage loft has a perfect work nook for email catch-ups, an open-concept kitchen and dining area, and two large barn doors that open up to the spacious living room. Enjoy your morning coffee or a meal on the balcony with a view of Georgian Bay over the neighbouring cabin.
With over 9 acres of property to explore, there`s something for everyone at the cottage. Head to woods behind the garage to find a tree house, apple trees, and trails through the forested land where you`ll find an idyllic stream that runs through the westerly portion of the property. Enjoy a cozy fire in your own private fire pit area separate from the main house.
Kitchen The loft hosts a beautiful kitchen with a large island for plenty of counter space for meal preparation. You’ll feel right at home with everything you need including a farmhouse sink, and stainless steel appliances, including a fridge, gas stove, and microwave. There is even a dishwasher for easy clean-up! No need to worry about any cutlery - all of the dishes, bakeware, spices, and utensils are provided. Just bring your food and favourite beverages!
Living Room The loft has a contemporary living room style with two couches, a TV, and a balcony walk-out. You can also grab one of the games from the hallway and spend your evening connecting with each other.
Bedrooms The loft contains a large primary bedroom with a King bed and plenty of closet space to accommodate. The second bedroom contains a comfortable queen bed, while the third is home to a queen bed and a set of twin over twin bunk beds. Each bedroom contains storage space for your belongings.

There are two buildings on our property, the large garage with loft living as well as a the log cabin. You will only have access to the garage and loft as well as the 9-acres of forested area. The log cabin is listed separately. We do offer both spaces to be rented together, if you`re interested in renting both (for 16 guests) please let us know!
I work in Toronto but my co-host Kylie is only a quick message or phone call away to help you with anything you might need! Most of the time we will not be available to meet with guests but don`t hesitate to contact us.
The cottage is located 10 minutes from Meaford, a four-season playground that has it all: great live theatre and concerts, fresh local food, unique shopping, nature at your doorstep, recreational activities, a beautiful harbour and waterfront campground, and so much more.
We are home to Meaford Hall - a restored 330-seat theatre, concert and cinema venue - plus unique boutiques, delicious eateries, and services of all kinds. Just a few minutes out of the downtown core you`ll find acres of rolling countryside, charming historic villages, secluded beaches and unspoiled natural areas.
The views are amazing, the people are friendly, and the opportunities are endless. It’s all happening, right here in Meaford.
We`re also 35 minute drive to Blue Mountain! It`s a great place to land after a day of skiing on the slopes.
Almost everything is within a 10 minute drive from the cottage! The local grocery store is about a 10 mins drive away.
We`re 20 minutes from Thornbury and 35 minutes to Blue mountain by car.
Free parking is available in the driveway.

It`s easy to navigate, and if you are out and about, you can access it from your phone.
To ensure you have a wonderful stay, we’ve equipped this home with a Minut sensor. It monitors noise (but does not record sound), occupancy, temperature and humidity, helping us keep our home and our neighbourhood safe, healthy and comfortable. It notifies us if it gets too loud, to ensure all guests have a pleasant stay and our neighbours are not disturbed. ** Occupancy & Visitors ** - Maximum of 8 guests allowed on the property. No additional visitors are permitted beyond those listed on the reservation. Thank you for respecting this.
** Noise, Behaviour & Events ** - No parties or events permitted. - Loud music is not allowed outdoors in accordance with municipal by-laws. - No fireworks at any time. - Dogs must be leashed when outdoors. - Any fines issued by a by-law officer (e.g., for noise, off-leash pets, fireworks, etc.) will be the responsibility of the guest and will be passed on accordingly.
** Smoking ** - Smoking is not allowed indoors. - Guests are welcome to smoke outside only - please be respectful and dispose of cigarette butts properly.
** Garbage & Recycling ** - Your cleaning fee covers disposal of up to 4 full-sized garbage/recycling bags. - Garbage and recycling must be sorted into separate clear bags (provided): 1. Garbage 2. Cans/Plastics/Glass 3. Paper/Fiber 4. Beer/Liquor containers
Additional fees: - $20 per extra bag of garbage or recycling. - $10 per bag if sorting is incorrect and requires re-sorting to meet municipal dump requirements.
** Cottage Etiquette ** - We are a no-shoes household - please remove shoes upon entering. - Please lock all doors when the property is unattended. - Turn off lights when not in use - let’s be energy conscious together!
** Septic System ** - The cottage runs on a septic system. Please flush toilet paper only - no wipes, hygiene products, or other materials.
** Neighbourhood Courtesy ** - Drive slowly on Georgian Beach Lane. The speed limit is 15 km/h. Please watch for children and pets.
